Sunday Recap

Sunday is the day I share the layouts done by my readers based on the challenges I offered up during the week.
One person did a layout this week. Diana did the Color Me Friday challenge, I think it is very pretty, don't you?
This one I did for a challenge over at Scrapbook Challenges, Handmade Embellishment. The idea was to make an embellishment and have it be a focal embellishment, and an added twist of using a scrap over a year old.
I used DCWV cs, October Afternoon Cherry Hill pp, the scrap (forgotten till last minute) is BG Blush pp, a stamped journal spot I got from Julia at AMR, MME die cut flower, hand dyed "skittles", 2 kinds of Thickers, and of course the flower-made out of coffee filters and a button. I got the idea for it from Jingle. You can see her tutorial here!
I got a couple ATCs done today. This first one is for My Favorite Shoe ATC swap at AMR. I used DCWV glitter cs, DCWV Glitter Stack pp, Prima flowers, generic yellow pearls, misc brads, Ruby Slippers Glitz Stickles, and my label maker.
This is a swap at Split Coast, This Card Smells Great ATC swap. The card must be scented! I found a pack of lip gloss scent at JoAnnes, Apple and Raspberry for $4. I put a couple drops of the oily scent in the middle of the Cosmo Cricket Snorkel pp, let it try. I cut the apple with the Cricut, colored the stem and leaf, used Glossy Accents on the shiny part of the apple, and a red rhinestone on it as well. I put the apple on a Bazzill cs scalloped Nestability, then pop-dotted the whole thing on the CC pp after I ran it through the Cuttlebug with Spots and Dots, once the scent dried. The stamp at the bottom is on Bazzill cs and is Technique Tuesday. The whole thing smells like apple, I wish you could smell it!
This ATC is made by my hubby, Cliff for his swap at AMR, Your Favorite Color. He wanted me to share it on my blog!
He used Technique Tueday stamps and stamped them on Bazzill cs, cut them out, glued the planets on BG Lime Rickey pp, pop-dotted the rocket ship, and Stickled it with Purple and Glitz Grape Stickles. The stars are Starry Night Stickles.
That is all I have for today. Tomorrow I will highlight another Featured Product, and hopefully some more scrappy stuff that I hope to get done today!
