I'm On A Roll!

I got 4 things done last night, the other is from a few days ago but I can share it today!
.
This first one is for The Cuttlebug Spot, Emboss it Twice. First I used the Forest Branches folder and inked it with brown ink, then I embossed over that with the Leafy Branch folder and inked it green.I stamped the sentiment with a Studio G stamp (should have used brown) then ran it through the same Leafy Branch folder and adhered it to the other embossing to match the pattern! Added some ribbon, added all of that to some more Bazzill, and ended up with a really cute card (I think so anyway). I really like this technique and plan to do more of it in the future!!
This is for Pink Sketches, sketch 26. I used some Scenic Route Sonoma pp I got as a RAK from AMR, Bazzill cs, Heidi Swapp cb letters, and I rolled the flowers up to give some texture and dimension and pop dotted them as well.
This week's sketch at Scrapbook Challenges, Sketch 136. I used ALL BG Wassail pp, stickers, and letters.
Another SBC challenge, was to use at least 9 squares and one animal. I used 25 squares, but a couple are behind the photo. I used Bazzill cs, BG Blush scraps (great way to use up those scraps you have lying around), some Felt Fusion, Kaiser Crafts rubons, die cut deer, and the letters are cut free hand.
AMR Monday Color Challenge-3/30: Color Inspiration From Photo. I used Bazzill cs, DCWV All Dressed Up pp, Bazzill Just The Edge, Prima flowers, buttons, scalloped circle, and BG White Chocolate letters.

Cards, RAKs, Organization

This was a challenge for The Cuttlebug Spot, Celebrate Spring! I used Bazzill Dotted Swiss cs, and everything else is Crate Paper Kaitlin Collection. I used D'vine Swirls and Swiss Dots CB embossing folders, and a Sizzix flower die. I sanded the D'vine Swirls, and inked the Swiss Dots.
This card is a funny story. I went and made this card, for the challenge above, and realized the colors weren't very "springy". Just for the record, I used Bazzill cs, October Afternoon pp, a borrowed CB embossing combo set (sorry, don't know the name), Inkadinkado Stamp, and a brad.
As if that wasn't bad enough, since the above card didn't work because of the colors, I made this one instead! Very springy, but I realized there was no Cuttlebugging involved!! SO, I made 3 cards for this challenge, but only the top one is "official", lol!! This was made with Bazzill cs, borrowed KI Memories scraps, Stickles, and an Inkadinkado stamp.
So I got another hostess RAK for the Easter ATC I am hosting for AMR. Aren't these to die for?! SO cute, and cupcakes to boot! Thanks Bren!!
Another hostess gift, from Espinola3.
I decided it was time I reorganized my chipboard. This just wasn't working. It was on my shelf and I could barely reach the top row (I am only 5 ft tall). Plus, the letters seem to get stuck when opening the drawers.
This is what I did for now. There will lots of digging involved, and my hope is someday I can buy something else to keep this in. At least for now, I can take my chipboard with me! Now, before you say anything, most of these letters are incomplete sets, and most are pretty ugly and need to be stripped! I do feel like I have more now, but I also never feel like I have enough, lol! We'll see how this works.
.
I will try to get in more of a bloggy habit, and not share 20 layouts at a time, lol! Thanks for checking in!!

A 3 Day Scrap-A-Thon!!!!

That's right, 3 fun-filled days of scrapping!! The first day was at Tigardlilly's house with Inara, then the next to at Inara's house! Here is what I got done....
.
This one is an October Afternoon Challenge on thier blog, use at least 2 different paper collections. I used County Fair-Cotton Candy, Weathervane-New Pencils, and Hometown-KM Building. Since all I have of OA is paper, I tried to keep the other embellies generic. The journaling is straight from my husbands mouth, since it is his family!
This one is for One Little Word, Ready. I used Bazzill cs, more October Afternoon (love that stuff), MM Hullaballoo letters, American Crafts Thickers, an unknown sheet of more letters, some suede-like flowers, some buttons, and a scalloped circle.
This is for Method Playground, monochromatic challenge. I used Bazzill cs, MM Garden Party pp, BG Sugared pp, some borrowed paper scraps for the eggs, misc ric rac, buttons and brads. The photo is me around 1980!
This was found on Liz's blog The Accidental Artist for Bad Girls, it was her first sketch. I didn't realize when I did the challenge that it was for a forum. I feel pretty stretched thin, so I don't want to sign up for the forum, but I figured I would share it anyway. I used BG Granola pp, Maya Road chipboard flourish, Prima flowers, Thickers, and some brads.
This is a Scrapbook Challenges challenge-Me, Myself, and I. I used Bazzill cs, BG Marakesh pp, BG Obscure letters, BG rubon, mostly Prima flowers, some Jo-Anne's epoxy stickers, and buttons. I HATE this photo of me, but it was the last one I had of me, and the colors match.
AMR Tuesday Font/Title challenge: 3/24-Use a movie quote or title as your title. I chose a line from Twilight! I used Bazzill cs, BG Porcelein pp, BG Sultry chip board flowers, Cosmo Cricket rubons, BG letters, mostly Prima flowers, Kaiser Craft pearls, and some ribbon.
AMR Wednesday Product Challenge: 3/25-Punches. I used Bazzill cs, October Afternoon pp, MM Noteworthy journaling sheet (1/2), Scenic Route letters, misc ribbon, misc rhinestone flowers, Martha Stewart zig zac border punch, SU scallop border punch, SU spiral punch, SU ticket corner punch, and the fabulous Crop-O-Dile.
AMR Thursday Scraplift Challenge-3/26. I used Pink Paislee Vintage Moon pp, used my craft knife and cut part of the branch and owl, and tucked the die cut paper under it. I also threw in some ribbon and buttons.
AMR Friday Team Challenge: 3/27-Title="Then There Was . I used Bazzill cs, October Afternoon pp, Maya Road rubons, MM itty bitty letters, Thickers, GCD studios chipboard, some Jenni Bowlin packaging, and velvet ric rac (I think it is BG).
This week's SCH theme at AMR was movies. I forgot about the chat hour, but was able to get in on the swap! The best thing about it, I got paired up with my awesome bloggy buddy Scrappy Girl, who is even more obsessed with Twilight than I am!! I know she will love it (Scrappy, I mailed it today), and I can't wait to see what she comes up with!! I used Bazzill Dotted Swiss cs, regular Bazzill cs, Cricut apple, Silhouette letters, and this photo! My dad says he has too much hair and too much makeup, LOL!!! If he only knew!!
.
That is all I will share today, there is more for tomorrow already!!

So Much To Share Part 3 of 4

So I told you I would share my cards, ATCs, and altered items I have been doing.
.
Lets start with the cards.
.
AMR Card Challenge-2/28: No Sticky Stuff, meaning no adhesive.
I used Bazzill cs, American Crafts Celebration pp, Technique Tuesday stamps, office supply star brads, and embroidery floss. No glue was used in the making of this card, lol!
AMR Card Challenge-3/14: Shoebox Challenge. The idea here was to put supplies in a shoebox and then use only those supplies to make a card. Of course I forgot to put in punches, buttons, and flowers. The trimmer was the only thing allowed to not go into the box.
I ended up making 3 cards...
Hugs & Kisses: Bazzill cardstock, BG Eva pp, misc ribbon (sei?), and Inkadinkado stamps.
Baby: Bazzill cs, BG Two Scoops pp, Inkadinkado stamps.
Thinking of You: Bazzill cs, October Afternoon pp, Stickles, and brads.
I am hosting another card swap at AMR, this time for Easter. The chick, egg, chocolate bunny and grass are all Silhouette designs. All the pieces are Stickles in some way, the sentiment is stamped with Technique Tuesday Savannah alpha stamps, and the card base is 3 different colors of ink applied with the Tim Holtz/Ranger application tool (can't remember it official name).
AMR Card Challenge-3/21: Bonus Challenge Using Sketch
I used 4 different Bazzill cs (one being Bling), BG Euphoria pp, Cosmo Cricket rubons, and a felt embellishment I made.
AMR Crop Card Challenge: No Straight Lines
I used Bazzill cs, traced and cut a BG Bracket Album, glued them together at the top, BG Archaic pp traced with a Jenni Bowlin journaling sheet, some Prima flowers, buttons, Stickles, Kaiser Craft pearls, and Technique Tuesday Stamps.
I used Bazzill cs, Silhouette scalloped frame, which I edited, copied and welded together and folded in half. Critters and such are Sassafras Lass, the stamp is Studio G, and it is colored in with SU Blender Pens. .
Now for some ATCs
.
This was for a Scrap Chat Hour (SCH) at AMR. There is usually a swap associated with the theme of the SCH. This one was made for a non-themed swap, free choice. I totally designed this cupcake on the Silhouette, and I loved how it turned out. There are slits in the cupcake "cup", but it didn't show on the pp. I used BG Two Scoops pp, BG Blush scraps for the cherry, Sakura Star Dust pen, and some Stickles. I believe the background pp is MME, but it is so old I don't know for sure, lol!
Another SCH swap, this one about pets. I used DCWV glitter cs, Bazzill cs, BG Granola pp, misc ribbon, and the green pp is unknown. I used a Nestability for the scalloped circle, and Quickutz dies for the kitties.Another SCH swap, this theme was your favorite SB product/technique. I chose Basic Grey and Stickles, of course! The pp is BG Urban Prairie, the stamps are Studio G, and then the Stickles.
I am hosting an Easter ATC swap at AMR. This is the one I did. I used MM Garden Party pp, Studio G stamps, SU ink and blender pen, and Stickles.
.
Now for some altered items.
.
I made some felt embellishments using my Cuttlebug dies and felt! I added buttons and layered the felt, stitched together, and you have some really cool, handmade embellies! You just use the die like normal, but replacing the felt with paper. Be sure to use some cardstock in there, it really helps the felt cut much cleaner. I have tried Sizzlets dies, and they don't work so well, but Nestabilities work good too!
In case you are interested, here is the sandwich recipe for the Cuttlebug, top to bottom...

I am doing a swap at AMR making rolodex cards! After MANY failed attempts, I finally got a rolodex card to scan well enough to get a good outline on the Silhouette! So I cut the SU Bella Rose pp for the front, SU Pink Pirouette cs for the back, used my CB to cut some more SU Bella Rose pp into flowers which I rolled up to make them a little distressed and to give some dimension, added a few brads, a photo, and on the back has my address, email, b-day, etc.
I had NO challenges to work on today (Monday), so I got out all the Halloween Deco Squares I recieved from a swap on AMR, and bound them together in this mini book. I used Target Dollar Spot letters, and it did not have numbers, so I used roman numerals for 2008.
.
Tomorrow I will share the scrappy mail I have been receiving!
