I Am Exhausted.

Another Monday, another Scrapbook Challenges Sketch!
Pamela works so hard making all these sketches, and Sketch 159 is no exception!
I used BG Urban Prairie pp, I hand-cut the photo corners, used some Thickers, and some miscellaneous chipboard.
This is why I am exhausted. I am making the baby shower invites for my bff Marla as a gift to her. I had to do 32 in all, and here sits the pile of cut pieces I have to work with! I started on Friday night, and finished up on Sunday night. I am very happy with them though, and I hope she will be as well!
Oh, you want to see them? Sorry! LOL I need something to blog about tomorrow, so I will share them then!!

Back On The Blog Challenge Kick

I did another blog challenge! It has been so long since I did one of these, I love doing them again. This one is for Method Playground, Week 52-Doodling.
For the doodling, I drew the swirls on the green paper then stickled over it, and I doodled the vines, leaves, and flowers, colored them with Bic Mark It markers, and stickled the flowers. I also dotted it with pink dots all around the white cs. Other supplies are Bazzill cs, MM Garden Party pp, buttons, Stickles, My Little Shoebox mini alphas, and BG White Chocolate chipboard-inked of course.
That is all I have today. It is Friday, and I can't wait till the weekend. I hope to get more stuff done, including those invitations, which are very time consuming, lol!
Thanks for checking in friends!

I {heart} Basic Grey

If you are a regular follower of my blog, you may know of my obsession with Basic Grey, lol! I really do love most of what they put out and wish I had an endless supply of money to buy all their stuff! Well anyway, I just discovered this new challenge blog called Basic Grey Challenges. I missed the first week's challenge, but am not going to miss this one!!
Week 2, A Color Combo. Pretty easy, right?
edited: I just realized how much this color combo matches my blog! It must be a sign! I really want to win the BG Indian Summer paper and other goodies!!!
This is what I came up with. Everything is BG except for the yellow cs (Bazzill, and trust me, it is yellow), the ink, and the Stickles.
I used BG Bittersweet pp, BG Two Scoops pp, BG Infuse ribbon, BG Cupcake buttons, and BG stamps.
Today I also got these in the mail, the Let The Sun Shine ATCs. Pretty good, right? I was very surprised, since the hostess didn't even tell us they were being mailed! Happy mail day for me!
As the German's would say....Das ist alles!

I WON!

I woke up this morning, started my daily online routine, and before I could check my Google Reader, Jingle shared a link with me on AMR, showing me this link! Quickutz and American Crafts are joining up this week for a bunch of giveaways!! This is what I won from Quickutz!
I am super excited too, can you tell?!?!?

Layouts, DONE!

I came home today from babysitting, and managed to get 3 layouts done, in less than 3 hours! I am super excited, I am completely caught up on challenges! What do I do now??? I have a number of ATCs to work on, but most of them are still at an undetermined amount of swappers, so I don't know how many to make. Oh well, there is bound to be something to do right?! LOL
.
I did the remaining challenges for Scrapbook Challenges so far.
Use Your Paint
I used 5 colors of MM paints, and the MM paint distresser tool(?), Magic Mesh, Thickers, CB snowflake die cuts, and spots of glitter stuck with glue.
Happiness Is...
Cliff wasn't too happy with all the pink, but I love it!! ALL the paper is BG Bittersweet, Thickers, Jenni Bowlin bingo card, BG buttons, Adorn It mini alphas (love these!), and crocheted flowers from Lisa/LBOregon.
Blue Waters, the point being to use water photos, and less than 10% blue.
I used Bazzill cs, Sassafras Bungle Jungle pp, MM Flower Patch letters, and a Tim Holtz ticket.
And one more thing I got done today, while babysitting of course, lol! Nicole posted this on AMR as the August Friday Member Challenge, but she shared it on her blog too!! This was super easy, after watching her video, and I learned so much! This is the blank template, which are free to download! I printed this at Laura's, with her laser printer and glossy cardstock, it looks very professional, and I made it for her. She loved it!! It folds into a tri-fold desktop calendar!
I just realized, I do have a project to work on. My BFF, Marla, asked me to make her baby shower invitations, and I am so honored she asked me! I have it designed, just have to get all the pieces cut, and get it all put together! I gave her a sneak peek, and she loves them! When I am done, I will show you all!!
Thanks for checking in today!

Monday..........

I really wish there was one more day in the weekend. I never seem to get enough rest in 2 days. I did manage to get a few layouts done and a couple ATCs though!
.
For my take on the sketch, I used BG Marrakesh pp, Fiskars Apron Lace border punch, Thickers, plastic flowers, dyed "skittles", and lacey ribbon.
AMR Thursday Scraplift Challenge, August 2nd half.
I used Bazzill Dotted Swiss cs, Cosmo Cricket The Boyfriend pp, MM Ribbon, a chain, Thickers, brads, and some buttons.
AMR Monday Color Challenge, August 2nd half.
I used Bazzill cs, a mix of October Afternoon pp, a tag made by Patti M, BG fibers, Nestability rectangle, die cut flower, rhinestone, American Crafts chipboard, and Miss Elizabeth's letters.
Split Coast's Disney Villains ATC swap. I took 2 spots.
The first one...Syndrome from The Incredibles!
I printed the photo on white cs, cut the foreground with my Silhouette on SU Pacific Point cs, printed the quote in a speech bubble, and added rhinestones.
This one is my favorite, I chose to do Randall Boggs from Monsters Inc.
Doesn't look villainous to you? This is Boo's door on the scare floor. I used Bazzill cs, Technique Tuesday stamps, a brad, and a dyed rhinestone to simulate the light that turns on when the door is activated.
Open the door, and you see Randall! He is printed on white cs.
Sadly, I don't have any posts pre-scheduled this week, so all we can do is hope I can get more scrappin' done, lol! Thank you to all my readers. If you read regularly, please leave me a quick comment and let me know! You guys ROCK!!

Just A Little Bit Of Scrappiness

Last night I managed to get a couple layouts done for AMR's Book Of Me (BOM) challenge.
The first one, which is #3 in the series, is a To Do List. Most people are doing it based on their daily routing, but I made mine scrappy, my scrappy to do list!
I used Bazzill cs, Little Yellow Bicycle pp, a page from a notebook, Petaloo flower, Prima flowers, brads, buttons, Kaiser Crafts pearls, and Thickers.
The cool thing about this list, when I made the layout, I finished one of my to do items!!
This layout knocked off another item off my list, BOM #4, I always, sometimes, never. Most people are doing it in list form, and of all areas of their lives, but once again, I went scrappy!
I used Cosmo Cricket The Boyfriend pp, Thickers, Adorn It little letter stickers, felt flowers/heart frame and rhinestones from Patti (see below), and a Heide Grace stick pin.
I got this awesome RAK from Patti the other day. Most of it is for winning one of her challenges during the AMR June Crop, and there were 3 smaller packages for winning weekly challenges at AMR. She included lots of stamped images, and a homemade stick pin! Thanks Patti!!
Got the AMR July Crop Summer ATC from Gay (Gaybow) the other day! What a great way to utilize those puffy stickers!
And Lisa (LBOregon) sent me this little RAK for winning the color challenge at AMR. Those pink crocheted flowers were made by her! Thanks Lisa!
Like I said, just a little bit of scrappiness today. I am scrappin tonight with Laura, hopefully I will have something to share soon!

Scrappy Mail

I have gotten lots of swaps back recently and I really want to share them!
I have been saving these up for a few days, so bear with me.
.
This is a RAK I got from Stacy from the AMR July crop! I totally forgot about it, lol! She also sent me the ATC for the Summer Theme ATC swap for the July Crop.
The AMR Technique Swap.
SCS A-Z Animals Swap.
AMR Cupcake Swap.
AMR Butterfly Swap.
SCS Fairytale Swap. (sorry the photo is blurry, batteries were just about dead)
And Toby, the trouble maker. I was punching out chipboard that I got from Inara. I knew he was in there, but I wasn't paying attention. Cliff came in and thought I was torturing him, lol! Honestly, as much as I love to torture him by sticking things to him for a laugh (safe and harmless I promise), I did not do this to him!!! He got his head through one spot, and his leg in another, lol!!! It was really funny, especially when he doesn't know what to do and just turns in circles. It was funny, seriously!!!
That is all for now. I hope to have more to share tomorrow.

A Somewhat Scrappy Weekend

My somewhat scrappy weekend started with a mini crop with tigardlilly and the 4 kids, but more on that later, lol! For now, I want to share this week's sketch at Scrapbook Challenges, Sketch 157. Pamela makes really great sketches!
And my take on the sketch. I used Bazzill cs, BG Wisteria pp, Prima/Bazzill/silk flowers, buttons, and some unknown painted chipboard I got from Inara which I inked.
I made 4 of these for some RAKs I owe over at AMR, they are 3x3 and are made with Bazzill cs, We R Memory Keepers pp, Inkadinkado stamps, Prima flowers, and a couple brads.
I am hosting another swap over at Split Coast, Cute As A Bug. The idea is to use those cute buggy stamps, paper, etc.
I used BG Lemonade pp, Bazzill cs, Studio G Stamps, Unity Stamps, SU Little Leaves die, EK Success flower punch, Kaiser Crafts rhinestones, CB Scallop Squares die, and some Stickles.
The last installment of the Split Coast Pass It Along swap, and I am the last stop. I added the screw brads and wrench brad on the second one. The first one I made a fish hook out of beading wire and string, and glued on the fish. The theme was masculine.
Friday Night's mini crop with the kids! 2 of them were working on their ATCs for the Kids Only ATC Swap at Swap Addicts Anonymous, the rest just played around with supplies. We all had a blast!

Like I said, a SOMEWHAT scrappy weekend, lol! Tomorrow I will be sharing some scrappy mail. Swaps, RAKs, and a funny photo of Toby!

The Final 5 Layouts From The Crop

I did it, I finished all the layouts from the crop, woo hoo!!
This was another bingo challenge. I used BG Wisteria pp, BG Eva Stamps, Martha Stewart punched butterflies, MM chipboard letters, Prima flowers, rhinestones, and some stitching.
This also doubled as the Thursday August Scraplift challenge (1st half).
Bingo Challenge. I used Bazzill cs, Scenic Route pp, MM pp, Bo Bunny pp, BG letters (inked), Flair Designed paper ribbon, Prima Flowers, EK Success punched flowers, eyelets, Kaiser Crafts pearls, and stitching.
This was also a challenge at Scrapbook Challenges, Sunny Days.
Another bingo challenge. I used MME pp, Sassafras Lass pp, October Afternoon pp, SU pp, BG letters (painted), and some brads.
This was also the School Challenge at SC (use learn, teach or school in title).
Almost done with the bingo challenges.
I used Bazzill cs, BG Sugared pp, MM journaling sheet (heart), Prima flowers (butterflies), Stickles, Thickers, and CB heart dies.
Now, before you judge me for the shaped photo, lol, It was the Photoshop Challenge at SC to use a shape for your photo.
Last Bingo Challenge, that is 12 in all!
I used Bazzill cs, Cosmo Cricket pp, We R Memory Keepers stamps, American Crafts ribbon, and Thickers.
Golly, now what do I have to blog about? I don't know at this point, I am writing this on Wednesday, lol! I am sure I will find something soon!! Thanks for putting up with me lately, my readers are the best!!

I Am On A Scrappy Roll!

Not just a scrappy roll, but a bloggy roll! Here are some more layouts from the AMR crop.
Yet another bingo challenge, bottom row.
I used Bazzill cs, October Afternoon Road Map pp, Fiskars Apron Lace border punch, Thickers, hand cut moon and stars, MM paints, and some stitched asterisks.
This layout also doubles as the AMR Tuesday Font/Title for first half of August. Requirements were 1 date, 2 exclamation points, 3 people mentioned, 4 lines of journaling, and 5 letters in title.
Bingo challenge, R Column.
I used Bazzill cs, BG Cupcake pp, Thickers, rhinestones, and staples for journaling lines.
Doubled as AMR Wednesday product challenge for August, Use Felt. The Thickers are felt.
One more bingo challenge today, diagonal top left to bottom right.
I used Bazzill cs, pp scraps from American Crafts, SU, Making Memories, October Afternoon, and Cosmo Cricket. I also used some Kaiser Crafts pearls and some rhinestones. As you can see, I did my 50+ words of journaling on my lined paper, and that wouldn't work, so I used my Cuttlekids Tadpole alphabet and the lined paper. Fixed that!
I signed up for a Michael Jackson Song Tribute ATC swap on Split Coast. Don't ask why! LOL
I got the lyrics, took out most of the punctuation, fixed the formatting (it was a disaster), had it repeat over and over again, and printed it off. I got the photo and the BAD logo from a CD cover, printed MJ, and put BAD into my Silhouette and cut it out. The ribbon is unknown.
An ATC/Inchie swap at Split Coast, Beach/Tropical theme. If you know me at all, you would know that they HAVE to match, lol! I used some We R Memory Keepers pp, Autumn Leaves (I think) stamp, Studio G stamp, Technique Tuesday alpha stamps, Kaiser Crafts rhinestones, Eucalyptus and Distress Antique Linen Stickles, and some Magic Mesh.
That is all for today. Remember, I am getting these ready on Monday, so this is all I have at the moment. Hopefully, I will have more to show tomorrow, as I attempt to find time to get more scrapping in!

Some Layouts From The Crop

Finally, some layouts!! This is only some of them, I will have more tomorrow, I told you there were lots, lol!
Cindy's Now & Then Challenge.
I couldn't print any of the older photos, so I went digi on this one. These photos are of me and my brothers, I am the oldest. The wedding one, the boys were on the wrong side, so I flipped it to match, lol!
Nicole's Scraplift Challenge, we were to scraplift the person who posted above us, for me, that would be Michelle/Shelle's 2 Girls.
Here is her layout. I adore the cupcake!
This is my take.
I used all Basic Grey Lime Rickey pp, I hand cut the balloon free hand, Thickers, and MM letter stickers.
Julie had a really cool challenge, Scrap Bingo Style Challenge. There are 12 possible layouts here, one for each bingo! The catch is, nothing can be doubled up, so for example, on the top row, you couldn't stamp on the lined paper.
Have you seen this one recently?? LOL Yes, it was my SC sketch LO, but I also used it for Julie's Bingo Style Challenge, 2nd row.
Same with this one, another BINGO challenge, top row.
This one is the middle row. I was very frustrated with this one. You might notice that I designed with pp only, 5 hand cut/punched shapes, 1 photo, and over 50 words journaling, plus the middle row. I started mixing the rows up, lol! Oh well, right?!
I used Cosmo Cricket pp, Thickers, Fiskars Apron Lace border punch, brads, Kaiser Crafts rhinestones, and rhinestone brads (these are the embellish on photo, notice I didn't count them as bling or metal?).
This last one was another Bingo challenge, 4th row.
I used SU Delicate Dots pp, Bo Bunny pp, SU Good Morning Sunshine pp, Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine pp, Pink Paislee pp (journaling), and BG Wisteria pp. Also used an Inkadinkado stamp on the same SU Delicate Dots pp, misc ribbons, and BG letter stickers.
This layout doubled as the AMR Monday Color Challenge for the first half of August, Primary Colors.
More to come tomorrow!
