Catching Up, Day 8

This is the last day of catch up! I am hoping, but the time this gets around to posting, that I will have more to share. I have some other stuff I still need to get done, before I can scrap again-I have a couple fan fic chapter I have to finish editing for someone, a crop to finish planning, and a RAK list to fix and get sent out. I hope to get that all done in the next couple days, so I can do some scrapping, and God forbid, read some of my stories that I have been ignoring for 2 weeks. How can someone who doesn't work, be so busy? Oh, yeah right...That would be facebook, Twitter, message boards, etc. Anyhow, on the scrappy goodness!

The shaped edges were done with Fiskars Threading Water border punch, SU Spiral border punch, SU Ticket corner punch (w/o guide), EK Success lg corner punch (w/o guide), and handcut the other ones.

I used Wassau cs, Cosmo Cricket Honey Pie pp, Kaiser Crafts rhinestone, and, surprisingly, the Hello Kitty Cricut cart.
SSS Snowman ATC Swap
I used DCWV Doodlin’ Around the Stack pp/cs, Cricut paper, Studio G stamp, rhinestones, googly eyes, and Hello Kitty Cricut cart-once again, getting my money’s worth!
SCF Valentine’s Day ATC Swap

We had to make a postage stamp.
I made my “stamp” in PSE, and of course, it highlights Rob! The 23 cents is for his age (GASP).

SCF Favorite Quote ATC Swap
I don’t really have a favorite quote, but I do love this line from Pride & Prejudice, one of my all-time favorite movies (the A&E version only please).
I printed the photo of Elizabeth Bennet and the quote on cs, and then added the Prima flowers and 3 colors of Stickles.
The quote says, “IT is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife”.

The title was chosen based on the fact that I couldn’t resist putting the dog cut out on there, and had to tie it in somehow. Catching Up, Day 5

More layouts! Can you believe I have been doing this many? I told you I was back at it!! At this point (thursday), I have 6 more layouts to post, 16 ATCs, and a few other misc stuff. I still have another ATC to make, and 5 more challenges I want to get done, then next weekend is another crop! So keep checking in, there will be lots to share.

When I started this layout, I didn’t think about all the variations in the color teal! They were either too green, or too blue, so I did the best I could.
I used We R Memory Keepers pp, October Afternoon pp (2), Basic Grey Offbeat pp, ribbon, MM Hulabaloo letter stickers, Martha Stewart border punch (unknown), Kaiser Crafts rhinestones, flower, grad, buttons, and staples.
Designed for SC Challenge-1, 2, 3, 4-1 photo, 2 papers, 3 flowers, 4 buttons.
The listed items must be exact, everything else was open.
I used Bazzill cs, Basic Grey Granola pp, Thickers, Fancy Pants rub on, MM ribbon, Prima Flowers, misc brads, My Mind’s Eye journaling spot, Kaiser Crafts pearls, and some buttons.
Designed for SC Challenge-Spring Love-use pastels, at least 1 butterfly, 1 flower, and 2 rub ons.
I used SU cs, Little Yellow Bicycle pp, Basic Grey White Chocolate chipboard, Prima flowers, buttons, Martha Stewart Loopy border/corner punch, Martha Stewar butterfly punch, Martha Stewart journaling spot, Daisy D’s rubon, and Autumn Leaves rub on. The rub ons didn’t show up very well, so I tried chalking over them-what’s done, is done.

Catching Up, Day 4

10 more layouts today! I got some digi ones here, and the reason they are bigger, is stupid blogger wouldn't accept the uploads of them from my computer, so I had to post them in Flickr, and pull them from there. Anyway, to the layouts already Marilyn, stop rambling, lol!

Chris has been posting Lizzy’s challenges on the board. I chose to do the Inspiration from Clothes challenge. The original was a headless, armless mannequin, with a white tank with red and blue flowers, with a hint of green leaves. It was adorable!
I used Maddie’s Garden by BZB Designs, and the flowers were cut from the coordinating cs using the cookie cutter feature.

I used a mixture of different papers and embellishments, but I don’t know what they were anymore. I am really bad at categorizing my digi stuff. When I first started, I didn’t save the information so I can source it.

I don’t any kind of a schedule, but as I was sitting there trying to come up with something, I was also searching for more RPattz pictures-then it hitme. I do this around the same time most every evening. And VOILA, my layout idea was born.
