I Need to Learn How To Manage My Time, LOL

OK, so it has been just over a week since my last post, and I do apologize. I have been working full time babysitting for Tigardlilly, and I haven't had any scrappy time. The first week was a difficult adjustment, lol!
Last night, I knocked out 6, count 'em SIX layouts!!!
.
I used DCWV cs, Sassafras Lass Faund Of You pp, Thickers, My Little Shoebox mini letters, Sandy Lion Butterflies, and Cosmo Cricket Get Happy word blocks.
SC Challenge: With A Father's Touch.
I used unknown cs, October Afternoon pp, unknown (Target's Marcella brand?) letter stickers and regular stickers, Thickers, buttons, and a trimmed MM Paperie journaling sheet.
SC Challenge: I Do. The idea with this challenge is to use the wedding phrase, Something New, Something Old, Something Borrowed, Something Blue.
I used Bazzill cs, Sassafras Lass Jungle Bungle pp (NEW), Fastenator Staples (OLD), MM Leather Frame (BORROWED from Cliff's RAK), Heidi Swapp Gel Blossoms (BLUE), Thickers, ad MM Itty Bitty letters.
SC Challenge: Red, White and Blue.
I used Bazzill cs, KI Memories Lace cs, BG Lime Rickey, unknown journaling card, Felt Fusion, Thickers, flowers (1 Prima, 2 unknown), and buttons.
AMR Wednesday Product Challenge: Bling.
I used BG Porcelain pp, BG Obsure letters, BG Infuse ribbon, pink rhinestones, Kaiser Crafts pearls, Diamond/Fruit Punch/Cotton Candy Stickles, Bazzill flower, unknown flower, and buttons.
AMR Thursday Scraplift Challenge: by Jessicamae3.
I used Cosmo Cricket Wanted pp, antique bingo card, Thickers, Jenni Bowlin journaling sticker, Prima flowers, buttons, and brads.
AMR Friday Team Challenge: Mini Album using credit, grocery, or players cards. I didn't have any of those type of cards, so I just used chipboard cut to ATC size.
I used BG Figgy Pudding pp and letter stickers and bound it with 2 Zutter rings. The photos are all from our Macy's Holiday Parade, the day after Thanksgiving.

This is an ATC I made for a swap at Split Coast Stampers, My Favorite Cartoon As A Kid.
I found a coloring page online, edited it, printed it out on cs, colored it with Prisma Colored Pencils (no special technique, just colored it), then pop dotted it. I used Wassau cs, Bazzill Bling cs, Cuttlebug Funky Circles die, Studio G stamps, Black Diamond Stickles, Technique Tuesday Alpha stamps, Prima flower, and a generic pearl.
I got this as a RAK from Kristen at AMR with her cupcake ATCs, thanks Kristen!
Sorry I posted so much, I just wanted to share everything, lol! I am working on a couple more ATCs for Split Coast swaps, and already have them designed. I hope to finish them in the next day or so. I also still want to do the sketch for SC this week. I will be back soon!

I Had A Busy Weekend

First things first, I have decided to stop doing the daily blog thing. I am having a hard time keeping up and I don't want to feel stressed or pressured about it, plus, it doesn't seem to be very popular. I will just keep blogging as things happen.
.
It is Monday, which means another sketch at Scrapbook Challenges. This is sketch 149.
My take...I used Bazzill cs, Cosmo Cricket Lil' Man pp, GCD sticker letters, Cuttlebug flowers and heart, and Rectangle Nestabilities.
A Father's Day card using Bazzill cs, BG Mellow pp, American Crafts ribbon, SU Topnote and Matchbox dies, Studio G stams, and CB Swiss Dots embossing folder.
I made this matchbox using the same XL Matchbox die from SU for my SIL, Mary. I used SU Riding Hood Red cs, SU Bella Rose pp, the same Matchbox die, SU Great Friend stamps, and misc ribbon.
This was Mary's birthday card. I used SU Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette cs, Bella Rose pp, SU Crazy For Cupcakes stamp, SU Riding Hood Red ink and SU Blender Pen, plain white ribbon, Christmas Red/Cotton Candy/Frosted Lace Stickles, a white gel pen to color in the frosting, and Kaiser Crafts pearls.
I joined a Technique ATC swap, where I chose to show how to kiss stamps. I used the same pics as my technique last month and put them on the back with typed instructions. The chipboard is painted with MM paint, Quikutz tear drop die, Oval Nestabilities embossed with Tiny Bubbles embossing folder (showing the debossed side), and the We R Memory Keepers panda stamp is kissed with a Martha Steward polka dot border stamp.
I got this RAK from mn-jana-oh from AMR with her swaps she sent me!
Today I got this one from Grammy-b at AMR with her swaps!
Cliff got this one from mn-jana-oh.
And this one from Grammy-b!
Mary, my SIL, and scrapinmary at AMR, got a huge box full of rubber stamps for $10 a few weeks ago-1/2 of them are SU! They came to visit this last weekend, and she brought me a shoebox full of them! How awesome was that?! Thanks Mary!
These are the SU ones she gave me. I still have to identify some of them.
These are the stamps that are not SU! They are mixed brands, mostly indepenents, but there are some cute one in there!
That is all I have to share for now. I hope no one is disappointed in me canceling the daily blog theme, I just can't seem to keep up with it. I think I like the posting whenever thing anyway. I will still try to post most everyday though. Thanks for stopping by, I do love my faithful readers!!

Color Me Friday

For this week's Color Scheme, I decided to use black, a dark teal, light blue, and cream.
This is the layout I did using these colors. It is my 3rd digi layout.
Most the elements I used were from the Moody Blues Collection, from Shabby Princess.
Unrelated to today's color scheme, is another digi, for a digi challenge at Scrapbook Challenges-Use A Template. This is my 2nd digi layout.
I used the Sweet Serentiy kit from Shabby Princess, and the template by Jen Caputo.
And my first digi layout.
I can't remember where I got this kit, but it is by Ronna Penner and is called Express Yourself.
I am doing a Pass It Along swap at Splitcoast. There are 4 people in each group, and 8 ATCs. She sends the bases out, and the first person puts on one element, 2 sets of 4. I am first in the Splish Splash group, so this is what I came up with. Both designs are Quikutz designs cut with the Silhouette. I used Sakura Glaze pens on both, then on the wave one, I used some Antique Linen Distress Stickles. I hope the next person can work with them.
I FINALLY got my AMR rolodex swap back, I sent them in March!!! Here is what we got back. I obviously got rid of the personal info. I really like these!
And just for fun, I decided to put some ice cream on my lips so I could get a kiss from Toby, LOL!!! Yes, my lips are closed people! And yes, I bribe my cats for affection! Don't ya just love the wonderful sunburn I have?!
I just wanted to point out, I AM NOT going 100% digi! I love my paper too much. I am mostly just playing right now and discovering new things. So don't fret, my paper creations aren't going anywhere!

Technique Thursday: Title On A Photo

I am still playing catch up after the beach trip, so I didn't have time to create a new layout for this technique.
This week I thought it would be fun to explore putting your title directly on a photo. It is scary at first, but I really love the way it looks! Most of these I did before I started blogging, so hopefully you haven't seen them!
This one I used Miss Elizabeth's pp, DCWV cs, plastic flowers, Bazzill flowers, silk flowers, and misc gold brads.
This one I used DCWV Glitter Stack cs, DCWV cs, MM Grommet, Target Dollar Spot letters, Cricut cut letters/5, and MM Rubon letters.
This one I used DCWV Glitter Stack cs, Walmart glitter letters, MM Grommet, and Stickled brads.
This one I used Cosmo Cricket Dutch Girl pp, Target Dollar Spot letters, and Fastenator Staples.
This one I used some MME pp from the Costco packs a few years ago, and Cricut letters.
This one I blogged a few months ago, one of my first SC sketches. I used BG Infuse pp, Bazzill cs, Silhouette cut brackets, Bazzill cs, Cloud 9 Design flowers, Prima flowers, hand dyed "skittles", and MM Passport letters.
I challenge you to do a layout with your title on your photo. Leave me a comment with a link to your layout, and on Sunday I will share it with the world, lol! I would love to see what you do!

A New Look

I got a few free digi kits from Nicole, who makes all kinds of digi kits! I love the Hey Cupcake one, that is what inspired me to redo my blog! I am still working on the spacing on the right side, right now, at least on my computer, it is hanging off the right side. Anyway, what do you think?

The beach was great! The kids had tons of fun, spent hours in the COLD water, and I even tried my hand at boogie boarding. I think it would be fun if I wasn't nearing what felt like hypothermia, lol! It was overcast most the day, with very little wind, and NO RAIN! It was a good day to be at the Oregon Coast! I even got a little bit of a sunburn! I hardly took any photos though, and I haven't unloaded them from my camera. Laura took tons, so I will be getting those soon and I will share!

I am sorry I missed Hump Day Fun, but I got back late last night from the beach, slept in, and have been catching up all day online and running errands. I will be back tomorrow with Technique Thursday though!

Featured Product Tuesday-Pink Paislee

I gotta admit, I love Pink Paislee! I couldn't decide which one to highlight, so I am doing 4 of the latest releases, lol! This last round was just awesome! Pink Paislee just keeps amazing me with all thier products!
.
I did this one last night using Captivating. I used Tender, Lovely, and Stunning pp. I have used up most of my Pink Paislee letters, so I decided to cut around the edges of the negatives, then filled it in with Glossy Accents. I also used some American Crafts ribbon, Flair Designs paper ribbon, MM Grommet, misc buttons, and unknown stickers. The journaling goes around the die cut paper.
I shared this one a while back using Enchanting. I used Delicious, Delightful, Wonderful and Adorable pp. I also used Bazzill cs, MM Noteworthy Journal spot, Scenic Route label, Scrapworks Shimmer flowers/leaves, misc ribbon, some Sassafras Lass and October Afternoon pp, staples, Prima flowers, mini brads, and Thickers.
I made this one a while back as well, using Fetching. I used Charming, Spirited and Rugged pp.
I also used Tangerine Tango SU cs, acrylic flowers, brads, and cut the letters with my Cricut.
This is my blog hop layout using more Fetching. I used Confident, Engaging, and more Rugged and Spirited pp.
I also used DCWV cs, buttons, MM itty bitty letters, and MM Passport cb letters.
And this one, I shared last week for my color challenge using some Fascinating. I used Alluring and Spectacular pp.
I also used Cosmo Cricket Early Bird, 7-Gypsies stickers, BG buttons, and Thickers.
Well, I hope you enjoyed some Pink Paislee! I know it has been out a while, but I just love it so much!!
.
OH YEAH, remember yesterday when I mentioned I had submitted some layouts to Basic Grey? They accepted them all!!!! Just check out my Designer Gallery! You can't imagine how much that made my day!!! Does this count as being published???
.
I am at the beach right now, or on my way! We are leaving at 6:30 am, and won't come home till dark. A short, 2-hour drive, and we will be sittin' in the sand, flying kites, and wrangling kids all day! I can't wait!
