Productive Weekend Part 2

I was also able to get a few layouts done for AMR this last weekend too!
I probably should explain the change in the challenges at AMR. We are only doing 2 challenges in each category each month. The CT was getting a little burned out from weekly challenges.
So this one is the Monday Color Challenge July #2: Primarily Orange.
I used Pink Paislee pp, Target Dollar Spot chipboard letters, Flair Designs paper ric rac, BG Buttons, eyelets, and a butterfly stamp made from the SU Butterfly die.
July Wednesday Product Challenge: Red White and Blue, not 4th of July.
I used DCWV cs, Creative Imaginations pp (aren't the cherries adorable?), Thickers, Prima flowers, Kaiser Crafts pearls, and Uniball Signo White pen.
You might recognize part of this card, it came from the handmade package from Kay that had my free stamp. I just couldn't bring myself to throw it away, so I used it to make a card front! I added the brads, and the SU Pink Pirouette cs.
I got my Split Coast Christmas In July swaps back this weekend.
I also got the At The Circus ones back! I got a few extras this time around. Thanks again! Some of these are just amazing!
Short post for me, huh?! I am hoping to get more done tonight and tomorrow. Hopefully I will have more to share really soon! Thanks for checking in again friend!!

A Great Productive Weekend

Ahhh, I had a scrappy weekend. In between working on the computer some more, getting all the little glitches out, and a new hard drive, I got a bunch of layouts done!

It's Monday, do you know what that means? Yep, another Scrapbook Challenges Sketch!
Presenting Sketch #154! This was was done by Liz!

I got a few layouts done for some SC challenges.

I used BG Lime Rickey pp, Thickers, and Felt Fusion.
Photoshop Challenge: Use clone tool to remove unwanted objects.
Here is the original photo. I took out the boat and the tip of the fishing pole in the top left corner...
Here is the layout I did using the edited photo.

I used Bazzill cs, MM Paperie pp, Prima and Bazzill flowers, unknown suede flowers, unknown velvety flower, BG brads, twine, staples, and Thickers.
Round It Up: Make a round layout.
I used a Heidi Swapp acrylic overlay clock, Pink Paislee pp, and unknown chipboard.

Some ATCs

How some ATC goodness? You know I am an addict and can't get enough of these, lol!
.
Now that I know how many people are doing my Fairytale/Fairy ATC swap at Split Coast Stampers, I was able to make my ATCs. I had trouble getting people to sign up, so I offered to make everyone an ATC as an incentive.
I used DCWV cs, which I went through the CB with the D'Vine Swirl folder then sanded it. I used the Cuttle Kids alpha dies for the fairy, wand, and crown, with Bazzill cs, Bazzill Bling, and DCWV Glitter paper, I stickled the tips of the crown and the wings of the fairy, as well as fairy dust. The frog is a Quikutz die. I added the googly eyes and ran the frog through the CB Swiss Dots folder. Don't forget the rhinestones.
Being the crop hostess at AMR, I hosted a small ATC swap a couple weeks ago for the July Crop, Summer theme. I used DCWV glitter paper, Wassau cs, Imaginisce stamps, Bic Mark-Its, Frosted Lace Stickles, floral rhinestones, Target Dollar Spot and Technique Tuesday stamps.
AMR's Months of The Year ATC swap, obviously I got Septemeber.
I used October Afternoon-Cherry Hill pp, Bazzill cs, Wassau cs, Cricut Doodlecharms and All Mixed Up cartridges, Studio G stamp, my label maker, and brads.
I am officially in need of another ATC binder! You would think I have enough ATCs, but I want to keep going! :)
To add to my collection, I am doing a pass it along swap at Split Coast Stampers. There are 4 people in each group, and we each do a different element on 2 different cards, 2 sets of four in the same theme.
This one was Splish Splash, and I was the first stop. I cut the flip flops with my Silhouette, and there is a wave under the sand castle, that I cut with my Silhouette and added the Stickles sand.
This was a Celestial one. I was last, so I added the BG Fibers, and the rhinestones.
I would be very interested in doing one of these again! I am still waiting on one more set, then I will be with this one.
.
These are all the ATCs for Cliff's Favorite Color ATC swap at AMR. Pretty good, wouldn't you say?
Hopefully, by the time this posts, I will have more to share. I am working on a "Let The Sun Shine" ATC swap on AMR/SCF, but it is labor intensive so it is taking me a while. I am considering starting up another swap on Split Coast. I have a lot of lo challenges I want to get done, but time just keeps escaping me. I guess we will see!
Thank you all for your patience with me and this poor, neglected blog. You know I love and adore all my readers/followers/subscribers! Thanks!

Some RAKs!!

Since I am hosting some ATC swaps, I have gotten a few RAKs lately. I think there are more on my computer, but it is not accessible right now. So I will just share what I have for now.
This awesome homemade journal of sorts came from Celeste/wundercrafts at Split Coast Stampers. She made this herself, and I think it is just amazing! I would love to share every page, but it would take forever! I am just going to share a few.
Since it is a fairytale swap, she threw in some pages that go with her ATCs.
Neat little pocket, complete with journaling cards.
Here, you can see how thick it is.
This is a card Cliff got from Gaybow at AMR when he lost his mom.
Gay also sent this AWESOME RAK! I don't even know how to thank her enough!! Thanks again Gay!
This is a hostess RAK from Scraprageous. I already have this ATC, so I will pass it along to Mary my SIL.
This one is actually for Cliff-he hosted the Favorite Color Swap, but all our stuff goes in the same stash! From Cindy!
That's all today. Tomorrow, some ATCs!

Catch Up Time

Well, we are still having computer problems, looks like it may be the hard drive itself! This is the main reason for my absence. I have been taking pics of stuff though, and have been scrapping.
.
Let's start off with some Scrapbook Challenges shall we! Sketch 153, by Cathy/Pink Cadillac. She did a great job didn't she?!
This is my take on the sketch.
I used Bazzill cs, Sassfras Hog Heaven pp, ribbon scraps, and Thickers.
AMR (All Moments Remembered) is doing a Book Of Me (BOM) challenge series. They aren't really challenges, as there aren't winners, just a theme/assignment each week. The first one, 3 weeks ago, was to list the thing that bring you joy.
I used Bazzill cs, BG Wisteria pp, Crate Paper rubons, MME cs flower, MM flower brad, and Thickers.
Last week's BOM challenge was "Oh To Be....", I chose THIN. I gave Chrispea a couple swimsuit model photos, and some of me. She is very proficient in Photoshop, and this is what she came up with!! Don't I look HOT?! Keep in mind, this is NOT me, just my face, lol!
This is the layout I did for BOM#2.
I used Bazzill cs, BG Eva pp, BG Sugared pp, Prima Flowers, BG Buttons, Kaiser Crafts pearls, and Thickers. Journaling reads.....
Not only would I be beautiful, I'd feel like it! I could run & play, reach my toes, cross my legs, and ride carnival rides. I could squeeze through crowds; and clothes would be cheaper. Oh, to be thin.
I got this National Scrapbook Day ATC from Kay, for a challenge I offered during the NSD crop at AMR.
Being my Stampin Up! Demo, she brought me this little gift! Thanks Kay, I love it!
OH MY GOODNESS, have you seen the new in colors from SU?? They are so gorgeous! Kay also brought me these swatches of the in colors, along with my SU Catalog!!!
And as a hostess gift (she brought me her swaps as well), she made these gorgeous stamped images!!! Some of them are hostess sets, some are brand new, and some are regular ones, but all great! One of them, which is cut off since you can't see it anyway, is an embossed rose, so I can try this technique. I can't wait to try it!
I am cutting this post off, so I have more to share tomorrow! Hopefully our computer will be back up and running soon. That will make things a lot easier in the future!

Dedicated To Tigardlilly

Tigardlilly, who never goes anywhere without her iphone and is addicted to her Twilight Fan Fiction. So much so, that she even reads during the parade, at the fireworks, on the beach, and in the waterpark!! This is dedicated to you!!!!
Speaking of Fan Fiction, if you are a twilight fan, you HAVE to read this story, Family Therapy Cullen Style. It is pee your pants funny! The vampire Cullens and Bella go to Family Therapy! Seriously, give it a shot!!!
.
Nothing scrappy for me, just can't get the mojo flowing. Hopefully next time!

Layouts, ATCs, RAKs

What a whirlwind week!! The funeral went well, and we got to visit with most of the family. That trip to Salem was followed with a trip back up the Great Wolf Lodge in WA with tigardlilly. I am still wiped out and trying to recoup, lol!
Today is Monday which means a new sketch at Scrapbook Challenges.
Sketch 152
My take. I used Bazzill cs, Dreamstreet pp, Bazzill and Prima flowers, Thickers, and buttons.
Being the second Monday of the month, it was my week for a challenge as well, and I get to do the Technique Challenge each month. Since I have had a crazy week, I kept it fairly simple, and shared some ways to do Stitching.
I used Bazzill cs, BG Junebug pp, Thickers, Embroidery Floss, Bazzill In Stitches templates, Cutterbee Piercing bugs for some hole punching, then some free hand stitching.
Today is tigardlilly's birthday, and I have always wanted to make one of these skinny cards. I used SU Pink Pirouette cs, SU Bella Rose pp, SU Crazy For Cupcakes stamps, Tiara Stickles, Diamond Stickles, and Candy Cane Stickles. She loved it!
ATC for Split Coast Stampers, At The Circus.
I used BG Infuse pp, Imaginisce stamps, drew and cut the pedastal with the Silhouette, rhinestones, Platinum Stickles, and a Sharpie, lol.
Split Coast Christmas In July ATC.
I used BG Mistletoe & Pear pp, SU Kiwi Kiss cs, Studio G/Inkadinkado/Target Dollar Spot stamps, Versamark, heat embossing, and rhinestones.
AMR Patriotic swap came back!
So did the Give Me A Rose swap.
Cliff and I got this card from AMR's grammy-b/Bren! How sweet is that!?
Hostess RAK from espinola3 (AMR).
Hostess RAK from grammy-b.
Hostess RAK from scrappin{jewlz}.
That is all I have to share right now. My poor blog has been so neglected lately, lol! I am really hoping to get on a more regular schedule with life, then I can balance things better. I want to all for all your kind words regarding Cliff's mom. Thanks for all your patience with me and my blog.
