Monday Again??

Monday has a whole different meaning in my house, or at least with me! Monday is the release of the new sketch at Scrapbook Challenges! Pamela does a great job with these sketches and I love each and every one of them! This week brings Sketch 142! For every challenge or sketch that you do, you get an entry into the drawing each month for a great prize. This month's sponsor is Studio Calico! They are providing us with 2 add on kits, very cute!
This is my take on it. I used Bazzill cs, Cosmo Cricket Mr. Campy pp, We R Memory Keepers chipboard, and a Tim Holtz journaling ticket.
I also found out, starting this term on the DT, that I am now the Technique Specialist! I am super excited about this! I will do a technique-driven challenge the second Monday of each month. This month I decided to teach Kissing Stamps.
.
On this card, I used my new Imaginisce Snag 'em Panda stamp from the Wild Things Collection. Isn't he just adorable? I kissed him with a Martha Stewart dotted border stamp. I love how the inked pooled in the middle of the dot as I lifted off! I also used Making Memories 5th Ave pp, October Afternoon pp, and a Clear Choice stamp for the sentiment.
This is the layout I did for the same challenge. The title letters are Pebbles Inc foam stamped, kissed with another Martha Stewart stamp from the same set as above (sorry, I don't know the name, it was borrowed). The large butterfly is a homemade foam stamp cut with a SU Butterfly die (borrowed), then kissed with Autumn Leaves journaling stamp. It made such a cute little journaling spot! The little butterfly is a We R Memory Keepers stamp, then kissed with a smaller Inkadinkado stamp to show some butterfly detail while still having lots of color. The rest of the supplies are Bazzill cs, Basic Grey Sugared pp, Glitz Sequins Stickles, and some Making Memories felt flower brads (I think).
Here you can see more detail in the butterflies.
More detail in the letters.
I haven't done much lately, so there is little to share today! I am hoping to get more scrappy time this week!
.
For Mother's Day, we stayed home with my parents, I cooked a requested homemade lasagna meal complete with breadsticks and salad. That was a food splurge for us, and I am so happy she liked it! She did like the wall hanging I made, so that made me happy! Overall, it was a good day at our house.
.
One more piece of business before I conclude this post....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATT!!!
My youngest brother turns 32 today!!
