More ATCs

I got 2 more ATCs done yesterday! I am currently an ATC makin' machine, lol!

This first one is an AMR swap hosted by...............(drumroll).................Cliff, my husband! Yep, he is part of AMR too!!!

The idea was to make an ATC based on your favorite color! One of my favorite colors in scrapbooking is Orange! I used Sassafras Lass Hog Heaven pp, We R Memory Keepers stamp, Technique Tuesday alpha stamps, misc silk flower, misc button, Orange Peel Stickles. The stamping was inked in Versamark then straight into some SU Tangerine Tango ink and then heat embossed.

This one is for a swap I am hosting at AMR, CUPCAKES!!

I used Sassafras Lass Hog Heaven pp (Hmmmm, think I might like this line, lol), Walmart cs, SU Crazy for Cupcakes stamp, Diamond Stickles is "painted" on, sprinkles are Christmas Red, Orange Peel, Yellow, and Fruit Punch Stickles, I stamped and cut out the cupcake wrapper on more Hog Heaven, then used my Wet Looks Embossing Markers and colored the candle and heat embossed it. Brads are Making Memories.

That is all for today! Tomorrow is our Scrap Night, then Saturday we are going to the Portland Rose Festival Starlight Parade, woo hoo!! Right now, I am off to the doctor to see about my lab results, and the fact that my blood sugar is still way too high! How fun-NOT!

A Couple ATCs

As I mentioned in the previous post, I worked on some ATCs today!

This first one is my 2nd spot in Split Coast Stampers' A-Z Food Swap, I chose X for xie, which is Chinese for crab. The only english word I could find was Xantham Gum, lol! I used a jpeg and outlined the image in my Silhouette software, and they didn't cut out all the way, so I had to hand cut 33 of these babies! Whew, I am so glad it is over! I used a Scrappy Cat alpha stamp for the X, black brads for the eyes, Bazzill cs, Stampin' Up cs, Basic Grey Ambrosia pp, and Sophisticate Quikutz alpha dies (the computer font is Phoenetica). I also used a rectangle Nestability.

Emma, at Auntie Em's Creatables, is having a multi-forum swap on her blog, Give Me A Rose!
Everything here is Stampin' Up, except for the stamp, ribbon, and rhinestones. Stampin' Up items are Kiwi Kiss cs, Bella Rose pp, Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss ink, Versamark for the embossing (ok, embossing powder is not SU either), and Ticket Corner punch. Other items are Technique Tuesday stamps, scallop Nestability, the backside of some American Crafts ribbon, and Dollar Tree rhinestones.
I got these mailed off today, and still have 5 swaps to make for, one is another A-Z swap. I hope to get some layouts done, as soon as I find some challenges to work on, lol! If you are new to my blog, I pretty much only do challenges. They keep me busy, and (hopefully) make my layouts different. It helps keep me out of ruts. Doing challenges (and SC sketches) has given me an opportunity to make 162 layouts so far this year! On that note, this year alone, I have made exactly 450 ATCs!!!

It Is Fixed!!

I know many of you have had a hard time getting to my blog, I do apologize. At first, blogger said it had to do with Blogger and Internet Explorer together, and only some people were affected, and others were able to view it with different browswers. I found out today, it had to do with the Followers gadget! The fix, move the gadget further down the sidebar! I did that, and VOILA, you can now view my blog! I am sorry for those of you who have been trying, especially during the blog hop. If I had known sooner, I would have fixed it sooner. If you are having problems with your blog, try this simple fix! If you are having problems with other people's blogs, try a different browser, and find some way to let them know what the problem is. I do apologize, and I hope you continue to come back and visit! Thanks for your patience!

A Couple Pages

I was able to get 2 pages done yesterday, both for yesterday's challenges at Scrapbook Challenges!

This one is for Lyndsay's Cardboard Challenge.

I used Walmart cs, Close To My Heart pp, cardboard which I stripped and painted with Making Memories paint (note to self, paint BEFORE you adhere cardboard), Bazzill flower, a paper covered brad, and unknown chipboard letters.

This was Annie's Make It and Pop It challenge, making your own embellishments and pop dotting them.

I used Basic Grey Euphoria pp (lots of scraps) and letters, handmade felt embellishments, hand cut flowers, SU Spiral punch, Nestabilities, and some Stickles. Of course, all the embellies are pop dotted. I had no S's left in my alphabet, so the one S you see was an 8, then I subbed Z's for the the other S's , and the R is a P and the tail of a K.
I also spent the evening working on some ATCs while watching A&E's Pride and Prejudice-the only good version, lol! I hope to have them finished up tonight so I can share them, and get them sent out!
