Operation Clean Sweep...Day 1

Ok, I am going to show myself in all my splendor-or NOT! Basically, I am a slob. I am going to share me, as I am in real life (irl). Please don't think bad things, the icky stuff always goes in the garbage! Problem is, my scrapspace is usually pretty clean, as you can see!
This allows me to ignore everything else and just play all day. That is going to change right now! See my lovely, clean, scrap space? Say goodbye for now! It is now going to house everything that needs a home, until my house is clean once again and the clutter put away! I will leave a tiny space for checking email and such, but I am cutting myself off from scrapping till I can clear off my table! What a reward that will be huh?!
For now, here is the rest of my house. If I can't be honest with strangers, how can I be honest with myself, right? I can't believe I am showing this, but accountability always helps me.....

Here is my Spare Room

Here is my Bedroom

Here is my Living Room

Here is my Laundry Room and Bathroom

Luckily, I have already cleaned my Kitchen, so you don't have to see all my dirty dishes!!

So, in closing, now that you have seen all this, I am still the same person, but will focus more on my house and use scrapping as a reward. A cool plus...my hubby is a video game junkie! I am adding his video game mess to my table, and he can't play games till the house is cleaned up too! Now that I am not working, at the moment anyway, I am going to be a domestic goddess, but I need lots of help, well, encouragement! This being the entire purpose of this post, honesty and accountability. I will post pics of my progress in the near future.

I WON!!

Today the winning AMR National Scrapbooking Day Online Crop Challenge Winners were chosen.
I won the Non Traditional Stamping Challenge. My nephew will be glad to know his Build-A Bear's shoe was not stained for nothing!
I was so excited, I had to call Tigardlilly and tell her I won, as I was doing that.....
I saw that she won the Hand Stiching Challenge! You can check out her blog after Mother's Day when she posts it. For now, it will have to be a secret. Of course, if you have a Flickr account, you can see it there!
Further investigation of the winners brought me to this...Fellow AMR Member and Friend Kay won the rubon/ribbon card challenge. Here is her card, very beautiful.

The really cool thing about this is people from all over the country participated, strangers mostly. Out of 6 challenges, 3 of us are within 20 miles of each other, and are all really good friends! What are the odds?

AMR National Scrapbooking Day Online Crop

So, I participated in my first online crop with All Moments Remembered. I didn't chat much, concentrated on the challenges. Knowing now, that I have extra time to complete the challenges, I will chat more next time! Overall I had a good time, I was at Tigardlilly's house cropping, and she had a second pc set up for me so I could participate. I obviously, didn't finish all the challenges on NSD, but I was done by Monday at noon!!
Challenge #1
"The first thing I want you to do is run over to the gallery and pick a layout you love and post it to this thread and gush to the designer all about why you love it!!!" Once I posted mine, I noticed someone used one of my cards for one of thier faves! I was so excited, I had to take a picture...no one has ever chosen one of my projects before for anything!!

Challenge #2

"My challenge is to have you hand stitch with embroidery floss. You can do it on a card or a layout, whatever you want."Used Crate Paper Katlin, Bazzill In-Stitches Template, Bazzill Flower, and "Skittle" as a flower center. The stamps are unknown, NOT Studio G though. Stickles adorning the crown.

Challenge #3

"It's a card challenge focusing on rub-ons and ribbon! It can be any theme and can be embellished with any other items as long as you use Rub-ons and ribbons."I used Crate Paper Katlin Paper and Rubons. Misc Ribbon, and Walmart Chipboard letters. Look for Stickles on the rubons and title.

Challenge #4

"All you have to do is use a piece of die cut paper. It could be scalloped like Bazzill or die-cut like Making Memories."I used American Crafts Amplified Paper, Bazzill Flower, MM Noteworthy, various chipboard letters.

Challenge #5

"Do a lo stamping with a non traditional scrapbook item."I used Build-A Bear shoes to stamp shoeprints with acrylic paint, peeled the cover off of the chipboard letter, painted them white with acrylic paint.

Challenge #6

"Create a LO (in honor of Christine MIDDLEcamp) with MIDDLE as your theme."I used Crate Paper Taylor Collection, misc ric rac, threading water punch, and Banana Frog Stamps. Marty is my brother.

Challenge #7

"Okay girls I call this one " everything but the kitchen sink ". So I want you to create a layout or something using a little bit of many things!!! Have fun!!" I used Scenic Route Paper, mostly Prima Flowers, various brads, rhinestones, "skittles", buttons, ribbon, Stickles, and cut the title with my Silhouette. Mary is my sister-in-law, but is like the sister I never had!

Mini Book Parade

I am sorry it has been a while, but you will see why! I have been making mini books for my store as store samples, using papers that are not selling. There is a lot to share, so I will make the photos small. Well, After 30 mins of uploading, I forgot to take it off center, so they cannot be side by side to take up less space-it is a long post, lol.
Trying to only use products we sell, I was limited to a few embellishments that I had on had. You will see lots of Prima flowers, stickles, rhinestones, brads, etc. The ribbons and some embellishments were provided by the store, along with all the paper. I gotta say, I am loving this!
Please forgive the crude photos, I gotta stop taking photos at night, lol! Someday, I will get a better camera too, that will help.
Enjoy!

I saw this foldable scrapbook on CKMB or AMR, can't remember. It was a video on YouTube, very cool idea. I think it is by Close To My Heart, not sure though. I used Daisy Bucket Designs, it has a really awesome wall papery texture, love it! It is very cute paper.

This is what I call a flip-flop album. I got the idea from Kelsbells on CKMB. 2 pieces of CS, 2 pieces of coordinating printed paper and glue it all together. When done, you flip the pages one way, they all are the same design, flip it all over again, they are all the same with design #2. It is hard to explain, hopefully the pictures will explain it. This time I used American Crafts Celebration line, not because we can't sell it, just wanted to.

This mini-book was done using Tinkering Ink, Provincal (spelling?) line. They make beautiful paper, but people won't buy it. This is another of Melegs/Erica Hettwer's 1 piece CS minis. There are no pictures, mostly because I had none. It works well for customers, because it will show off more of the paper.

This is a double page LO using the leftovers from the above mini book.
