SSS Hotties Battle

So, here it is....
The Scrap Sisters Studio Hotties Battle!!
During the crop last weekend, I challenged Gaybow to make more layouts of her "hottie", Gerard Butler. The loser has to make and send a layout of the winner's "hottie" to the winner. It was a close one, but I did win. Gay managed to do 10, while I did 12 (2-pagers count as 2). I won't even mention that 2 of hers were just photo sleeves, lol! She knows I am joking about complaining!! :)
Turns out, the other person on our board who does "hottie" layouts, inadvertently got left out. Julie was a bit upset, at first, and ended up beating us both out, just to prove a point, lol! I am going to send her a layout of her Jason Michael Carroll, just because!
.
So, without further ado, let's get on to showing off Rob!!!
This was a challenge, to do a 2-page layout using at least 5 photos. I know, I know-it's pink! But look at the photos, they just screamed pink to me!! Besides, it's not like he is ever going to see these! (OMG, I would die if he did!!)
I used Bazzill cs, Pink Paislee Pop Fashion pp, various die cuts, Clear Scraps acrylic R which I used alcohol inks on, Prima flowers, buttons, Thickers, and one of the handmade SS items from Jana.
This one I used Coredinations Black Magic cs and lightly sanded it (it is green underneath), SU Rockabilly Specialty pp, Prima flowers (covered in Gold Stickles), MM glitter chipboard letters, Recollections chipboard stickers (they were black/silver, so I covered the silver with Gold Stickles), and unknown journal spot (maybe MME?).
This one was a challenge, Use Your Stash, use supplies older than 1 year, and at least one photo has to be older than 1 year. I forgot about the photo rule, so I threw a photo of me from 8/08.
I used Bazzill cs, Scenic Route from 2005, Thickers purchase 6/08, Adorn It letters from Scarlet Lime kit 12/08, and Queen & Co Felt Fusion I bought last Christmas. I hand cut the thought bubble and it's trail. This was a sketch challenge, using at least 3 bracket items, by Chrispea.
I used Bazzill cs, Jenni Bowlin bracket paper, chipboard brackets (unknown), Thickers, Adorn It letters, BG Granola pp, I hand cut the bracket border at the bottom, American Crafts journal sticker, and suede flowers.
This one I used Bazzill cs, DCWV Glitter Stack pp, Cuttlekids tadpole alpha dies, DCWV Glitter cs, and Recollections chipboard (this time I didn't cover up the silver).
This one, I pulled out my Cricut for the first time in a LONG time-for the title (I used Stamped), BG Granola pp, embossed die cuts from SSS members, chipboard journal spot from scrapinmary (inked), Tim Holtz ticket, and some ribbon scraps. OH, and my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, love that thing! Don't forget my fave photo shoot, GQ, yummo!
Now, before you say anything about the purple, I decided to do this one purple because I have received so many purple embellishments*, I just HAD to use them, lol!
I used ColorBox (I think) cs, American Crafts pp, AC photo corners*, The Paper Studio rhinestones*, Crystal Stickers rhinestones*, Sticko Button Ups buttons*, Kaiser Crafts felt strip, Kaiser Crafts rhinestones, ribbon scraps, Thickers, and Wassau cs scrap.
I don't know what paper this is, it was a RAK, and I covered the back with other cs and can't look to see what it is-but it is weaved raffia (I think), most of this stuff on this layout is RAKs too, totally coincidental. I used 2 kinds of Thickers from Denise, Top Note Die from Malena, Flower from Jana, Butterfly from Celeste, BG Bling It from ?, and teh rhinestone at top is MM Flower Patch-that was mine.
I used Bazzill cs, Cosmo Cricket Mr Campy pp, Thickers, Adorn It letters, flowers, and buttons.
I used Bazzill cs, a variety of MM papers, Kaiser Crafts flowers, Hobby Lobby Vday embellie, and Thickers.
OK, this is my most "vulgar" layout, but I covered up the offensive word. I used Heidi Grace pp, Kaiser Crafts and Prima flowers, brads, and Cricut cut letters using Opposites Attract. Right now, these are some of my favorite shots of Rob!!
It was really fun, Cliff went to Costco and picked up my pictures (I am upset I forgot to get matte/luster). I realized afterwards, what it must have looked like, a man picking up "Rob Porn"!! It must have been priceless!! I've got myself a good husband!!
.
I hope you enjoyed Rob!!
