A Somewhat Scrappy Weekend

My somewhat scrappy weekend started with a mini crop with tigardlilly and the 4 kids, but more on that later, lol! For now, I want to share this week's sketch at Scrapbook Challenges, Sketch 157. Pamela makes really great sketches!
And my take on the sketch. I used Bazzill cs, BG Wisteria pp, Prima/Bazzill/silk flowers, buttons, and some unknown painted chipboard I got from Inara which I inked.
I made 4 of these for some RAKs I owe over at AMR, they are 3x3 and are made with Bazzill cs, We R Memory Keepers pp, Inkadinkado stamps, Prima flowers, and a couple brads.
I am hosting another swap over at Split Coast, Cute As A Bug. The idea is to use those cute buggy stamps, paper, etc.
I used BG Lemonade pp, Bazzill cs, Studio G Stamps, Unity Stamps, SU Little Leaves die, EK Success flower punch, Kaiser Crafts rhinestones, CB Scallop Squares die, and some Stickles.
The last installment of the Split Coast Pass It Along swap, and I am the last stop. I added the screw brads and wrench brad on the second one. The first one I made a fish hook out of beading wire and string, and glued on the fish. The theme was masculine.
Friday Night's mini crop with the kids! 2 of them were working on their ATCs for the Kids Only ATC Swap at Swap Addicts Anonymous, the rest just played around with supplies. We all had a blast!

Like I said, a SOMEWHAT scrappy weekend, lol! Tomorrow I will be sharing some scrappy mail. Swaps, RAKs, and a funny photo of Toby!

The Final 5 Layouts From The Crop

I did it, I finished all the layouts from the crop, woo hoo!!
This was another bingo challenge. I used BG Wisteria pp, BG Eva Stamps, Martha Stewart punched butterflies, MM chipboard letters, Prima flowers, rhinestones, and some stitching.
This also doubled as the Thursday August Scraplift challenge (1st half).
Bingo Challenge. I used Bazzill cs, Scenic Route pp, MM pp, Bo Bunny pp, BG letters (inked), Flair Designed paper ribbon, Prima Flowers, EK Success punched flowers, eyelets, Kaiser Crafts pearls, and stitching.
This was also a challenge at Scrapbook Challenges, Sunny Days.
Another bingo challenge. I used MME pp, Sassafras Lass pp, October Afternoon pp, SU pp, BG letters (painted), and some brads.
This was also the School Challenge at SC (use learn, teach or school in title).
Almost done with the bingo challenges.
I used Bazzill cs, BG Sugared pp, MM journaling sheet (heart), Prima flowers (butterflies), Stickles, Thickers, and CB heart dies.
Now, before you judge me for the shaped photo, lol, It was the Photoshop Challenge at SC to use a shape for your photo.
Last Bingo Challenge, that is 12 in all!
I used Bazzill cs, Cosmo Cricket pp, We R Memory Keepers stamps, American Crafts ribbon, and Thickers.
Golly, now what do I have to blog about? I don't know at this point, I am writing this on Wednesday, lol! I am sure I will find something soon!! Thanks for putting up with me lately, my readers are the best!!

I Am On A Scrappy Roll!

Not just a scrappy roll, but a bloggy roll! Here are some more layouts from the AMR crop.
Yet another bingo challenge, bottom row.
I used Bazzill cs, October Afternoon Road Map pp, Fiskars Apron Lace border punch, Thickers, hand cut moon and stars, MM paints, and some stitched asterisks.
This layout also doubles as the AMR Tuesday Font/Title for first half of August. Requirements were 1 date, 2 exclamation points, 3 people mentioned, 4 lines of journaling, and 5 letters in title.
Bingo challenge, R Column.
I used Bazzill cs, BG Cupcake pp, Thickers, rhinestones, and staples for journaling lines.
Doubled as AMR Wednesday product challenge for August, Use Felt. The Thickers are felt.
One more bingo challenge today, diagonal top left to bottom right.
I used Bazzill cs, pp scraps from American Crafts, SU, Making Memories, October Afternoon, and Cosmo Cricket. I also used some Kaiser Crafts pearls and some rhinestones. As you can see, I did my 50+ words of journaling on my lined paper, and that wouldn't work, so I used my Cuttlekids Tadpole alphabet and the lined paper. Fixed that!
I signed up for a Michael Jackson Song Tribute ATC swap on Split Coast. Don't ask why! LOL
I got the lyrics, took out most of the punctuation, fixed the formatting (it was a disaster), had it repeat over and over again, and printed it off. I got the photo and the BAD logo from a CD cover, printed MJ, and put BAD into my Silhouette and cut it out. The ribbon is unknown.
An ATC/Inchie swap at Split Coast, Beach/Tropical theme. If you know me at all, you would know that they HAVE to match, lol! I used some We R Memory Keepers pp, Autumn Leaves (I think) stamp, Studio G stamp, Technique Tuesday alpha stamps, Kaiser Crafts rhinestones, Eucalyptus and Distress Antique Linen Stickles, and some Magic Mesh.
That is all for today. Remember, I am getting these ready on Monday, so this is all I have at the moment. Hopefully, I will have more to show tomorrow, as I attempt to find time to get more scrapping in!

Some Layouts From The Crop

Finally, some layouts!! This is only some of them, I will have more tomorrow, I told you there were lots, lol!
Cindy's Now & Then Challenge.
I couldn't print any of the older photos, so I went digi on this one. These photos are of me and my brothers, I am the oldest. The wedding one, the boys were on the wrong side, so I flipped it to match, lol!
Nicole's Scraplift Challenge, we were to scraplift the person who posted above us, for me, that would be Michelle/Shelle's 2 Girls.
Here is her layout. I adore the cupcake!
This is my take.
I used all Basic Grey Lime Rickey pp, I hand cut the balloon free hand, Thickers, and MM letter stickers.
Julie had a really cool challenge, Scrap Bingo Style Challenge. There are 12 possible layouts here, one for each bingo! The catch is, nothing can be doubled up, so for example, on the top row, you couldn't stamp on the lined paper.
Have you seen this one recently?? LOL Yes, it was my SC sketch LO, but I also used it for Julie's Bingo Style Challenge, 2nd row.
Same with this one, another BINGO challenge, top row.
This one is the middle row. I was very frustrated with this one. You might notice that I designed with pp only, 5 hand cut/punched shapes, 1 photo, and over 50 words journaling, plus the middle row. I started mixing the rows up, lol! Oh well, right?!
I used Cosmo Cricket pp, Thickers, Fiskars Apron Lace border punch, brads, Kaiser Crafts rhinestones, and rhinestone brads (these are the embellish on photo, notice I didn't count them as bling or metal?).
This last one was another Bingo challenge, 4th row.
I used SU Delicate Dots pp, Bo Bunny pp, SU Good Morning Sunshine pp, Cosmo Cricket Hello Sunshine pp, Pink Paislee pp (journaling), and BG Wisteria pp. Also used an Inkadinkado stamp on the same SU Delicate Dots pp, misc ribbons, and BG letter stickers.
This layout doubled as the AMR Monday Color Challenge for the first half of August, Primary Colors.
More to come tomorrow!

Some Stuff From The Crop

First of all, I want to remind all my readers about the message board I started up. There are already some really great ladies here, and we would love to have you, even if you aren't a swapper. Check it out.
Second, Nicole sent me this, she said it made her think of me! I love it so much, I just had to share it! Thanks Nicole!
.
So, now for the crop! Today I am sharing everything I have done so far, that aren't layouts.
.
This was Nicole's Stamp Challenge, where we had to use a stamp we had never used.
I used an Inkadinkado stamp I got for 50 cents at Jo-Ann's. I used Bazzill cs, My Little Yellow Bicycle Love Letters pp, Fiskars Apron Lace Border Punch, and Kaiser Crafts pearls.
Kay's Recycled Card Challenge, but don't let it look recycled!
I used this invite I got for my cousin's baby shower....
And made this card out of it. I used SU Pink Pirouette cs, Studio G stamps, stitched ribbon, Prima flowers, and some rhinestones.
Chris's Fabric Tag Challenge.
I used a scrap of the really cheap fabric my mom had and spread Modge Podge all over it to help stiffen it up, then let it dry. I put some K & Co chipboard on it, then sprayed with my only 2 colors of Glimmer Mist. After that was dry, I added the ribbon and eyelet, Technique Tuesday stamps, and hand stitching.
I hosted an Aug crop ATC swap, very small. This is the ATC I decided to make. We played BINGO again this month with scrappy words, and in an hour and half, we racked up 27 pages of comments!!! That super fun and hilarious game inspired this ATC, that and the fact that the idea popped into my head as I was finally dozing off to sleep that night!
I used Kaiser Crafts pp, made the BINGO card on my computer and printed it out. The flower is a Prima flower, then I used hand-dyes "Skittles", and cut out the AMR from the backside of the pp and with my Cuttlekids Tadpole Alphabet.
I mad 12 of them, and each one has a different color "dauber" and a different BINGO.
Tomorrow, some of the layouts I got done, there were lots of them, and hopefully will be more soon! (writing this on Monday). There are still 5 challenges I want to get done from the crop!
Ciao!!

Scrapbook Challenges

First of all, Happy Monday Bloggy Friends! I hope your weekend was as good as mine. I spent the entire weekend scrapbooking, and playing during the AMR Online Crop! I got tons done, and hope to get more done tonight, as there are still 5 challenges I want to get done before Wednesday.
.
I found out last night that I won the monthly prize at Scrapbook Challenges for July! Beside the prize, I get to show off this really cool winner's badge, made by Cathy!
I am super excited too! All I had to do was at least one challenge, and I got entered into the drawing for this......
These stamps from Unity Stamps! How super cool, can't wait to get these so I can start playing with them all!
.
Another week, another Monday, another sketch at Scrapbook Challenges. This week's sketch is # 156.
This is my take. I used DCWV cs, a mix of pps-SU Delicate Dots, SU Good Morning Sunshine, and Cosmo Cricket Mr Campy; BG White Choc cb letters (inked), CB Funky Circles with Bazzill Bling, and asst butterfly stamps in the lower left corner.
Being the 2nd Monday of the month, I get to do my Technique Challenge for SC also!
This month I decided to do some Ink Resist.
I showed how to do heat emboss with Vermamark ink, ink over it, and wipe the ink off. This is a really fun technique, if you want to see how it is done, check out the link above. :)
I used MM Garden Party pp, Scenic Route pp, Technique Tuesday Stamps, MM Flower Patch letters, rhinestone flowers, and rhinestone cluster, and some pretty stitched ribbon. I made the spiral edge with my SU Spiral punch.
I got a few more things last week in the mail.
These are some ATCs from Julie, from past AMR SCH swaps, Fave Product/Technique, NSD crop, and Pets. She also included these chipboard numbers as a hostess RAK with her butterfly ATCs. Thanks Julie!
These are the This Card Smells Great ATC swap from Split Coast. OH MY, so these smell, lol! I had done the apple one, a couple months ago. I also got a little bottle of strawberry scented glue, Thanks Joyce!
The Favorite Cartoon ATC swap from Split Coast, these are just adorable! I also got a little prize for being the last one to sign up. Thanks Leslie!
Tomorrow.......more scrappy stuff! I got tons done this weekend, remember, lol!

Where Have I Been?

I have been working on a few scrappy things, but mostly playing online and working. I did set up a message board, Swap Addicts Anonymous. A board focused on swaps of all kinds, but also just a chatty place. It is a bit slow right now, but I hope it will pick up with more members. Please check it out and make yourself at home, even if you aren't a swapper!
I finally got this swap done, it was pretty labor intensive. This ATC was made for AMR/SCF's Let The Sunshine ATC Swap.
I used Basic Grey Urban Prairie pp, Bazzill cs for the back, Autumn Leaves Stamp, Technique Tuesday alpha stamps, and Yellow Stickles. I also used SU Scallop border punch, Fiskars Threading Water border punch, and 2 different sizes scalloped scissors.
These Christmas Inchies are for a swap over at Split Coast Stampers. Aren't they just adorable? I used Basic Grey Figgy Pudding, Wassail, and Mistletoe & Pear pp, and some Cosmo Cricket (unknown but is a Christmas line) pp, Bazzill cs, Studio G and Inkadinkado stamps, Stickles, chalk, rhinesones, brads, and chalking "poofs".
I also got the My Favorite Shoe swap back.
Split Coast's A-Z Food Swap....AWESOME!
LittleMissSparkle, the hostess of the coffee swap I did a while back send me a replacement for the one that was missing. I love it!
I got this Summer Themed ATC for AMR's July crop from grettasgranddaughter.
Scrappy Girl sent me her NSD ATC from May's AMR crop, a card, and a handmade bookmark.
A hostess gift from Emma, a card and this cute rhinetone cherry brad!
cpmemories sent me this adorable cupcake stamp set as a hostess gift, and it's BG!!
Scrappy Girl also sent me a RAK I earned for winning a challenge during the NSD AMR online crop in May.
On SAA, I am hosting a Kids Only ATC Swap. My nephew wanted to sign up and made this ATC. Everything was his idea, the only thing I did was cut the ATC, and show him how to stamp. He is 11 and really enjoyed making his ATCs.
I am still trying to get back into the groove, I am sorry if my blog has been disappointing lately. I have to do some layouts this weekend for challenges I have to do, plus, the AMR crop is this weekend! You really should check it out!
