Some Recent Layouts

To start with, here is some more Rob Pattinson goodness!!!
I am a bit behind on some of these, with the computer problems I have been having, and just plain spacing out, I missed a week or two of posting. But, here they are, in all their glory!
My take. I used October Afternoon Road Map pp, Bazzill cs, Cosmo Cricket The Boyfriend pp, misc ribbon, and Thickers. Oh, and my fairly new Tiny Attacher!
Sketch 175-This week's sketch!
For mine, I used Sassafras Bungle Jungle pp, die cuts, Bazzill cs, rhinestones, and Thickers.
If you have considered joining up at Scrapbook Challenges, I encourage you to come on by. It is no longer on MySpace, so those of you who avoided it because of that [J.I. ;)] there is no excuse! It is so much easier to navigate, and posting is less hassle. We even have our own gallery, so no more 3rd party posting!!
.
Here is another BZB Designs layout I did, this week's release!! This page uses a few kits, but all coordinate! The paper is Going Gingham, the cookies are Cookies 4 Santa, the letters are Cookie Cutter, then there is the matching cardstock-Take Stock Dec Color Play. The entire set would normally cost $8, but are half price right now, so it would only cost you $4. If you are into digi, I highly recommend check out Brynn's kits. She has them for sale at Elemental Scraps.
I did this one last month for the SSS Nov crop. Unfortunately, I didn't save the info for what the kit is, or who it is by-I do know it was a freebie.
This is for a Round Robin game we played on Scrapbook Challenges. This is my scraplift of the original layout, by Chrispea, which you can see here.
I used Bazzill cs, Graphic 45 pp, 7 gypsies stamp, button, BG rubons, wooden letters from Dollar Tree, Jenni Bowlin Bingo Card, and a die cut from Julie.
That's all the layouts I have done for now! Thanks for checking in friends!!

Whirlwind Week

What a week I had. I spent last weekend and 1st part of the week in the hospital, with respiratory problems. As a result, I have quit smoking, am eating healthy, and now on an insulin regime for my diabetes. I am feeling so good, happy, and very empowered. I am super excited for the changes I am making in my life, and look forward to the physical changes in the future!
.
Now that I have explained my absence, let's move on to the scrappy part of my life, which is the point of my blog, lol!
It is Monday, which means a new sketch at Scrapbook Challenges.
Sketch 166
My take on the sketch.
I used Bazzill cs, Bazzill Just the Edge border strips, Basic Grey Romani pp (I think), Thickers, Tim Holtz Tag, Prima Flowers, and Milled Lavender Distress Stickles.
Last weekend was the AMR October Crop, which I had to leave early to go to the ER, but I did manage to get all the challenges done before I left-priorities you know! There are some regular monthly AMR challenges mixed in here as well.
This was for AMR's Oct 1st half Product Challenge, Use Paint.
I am out of foam brushes, so I used my God-given tools, my fingers.
I used Bazzill cs, MM Paint, K&Co chipboard sprayed with Glimmer Mist, RAK'd tag and handmade embellishment, Thickers, and punched/pieced flowers with rhinestone centers.
AMR Oct 1st half Scraplift Challenge.
I used Sassafras Hog Heaven pp, stickers, and letters, Prima flowers, brads, buttons, and Thickers. The inside scalloped paper, is part of the same paper that is the outside edge-I cut the scallops out, then pop-dotted the whole scalloped piece inside (does that make sense?).
AMR Crop, Sketch Challenge
I used Basic Grey Mistletoe and Pear pp, Cuttlebug snowflake die cuts with DCWV Glitter paper, Bazzill chipboard (inked), MM Hullabaloo letter stickers, and Kaiser Crafts rhinestones.
Here is an example of how I am eating. Spinach Salad with canned salmon, carrots, red peppers, tomato, boiled egg, homemade lemon garlic vinaigrette. It was SOOOO yummy!!
Back to the scrappiness, I made this bookmark for a challenge during the AMR crop, make a tag/bookmark using alcohol inks.
I used a variety of Inkadinkado stamps (from the Costco packs), then used 5 colors of Ranger alcohol inks till I got the look I was going for, BG fibers, eyelet, and regular plain white cs.
AMR crop challenge, Bookmark Card.
I was feeling really, really bad, so I got really lazy on this one. I used Special Moments (Dollar Tree) stickers, and Creative Imaginations rubons. Inside is a bookmark using the same supplies that is perforated so the bookmark can be detached.
Interestingly enough, my DT had a little crop the same day. I joined late, so I only got one challenge done, we had to make a card based on the Something Old, New, Borrowed, Blue wedding concept.
I used Bazzill cs, BG Two Scoops pp (old), SU Crazy for Cupcakes stamps, Kaiser Crafts rhinestones (new), MM Ribbon (blue), and Bic Mark Its markers. The something borrowed, is supposed to be a scraplift or sketch, I used a sketch.
It was my turn for a challenge last week at Scrapbook Challenges, so I chose the paper piecing technique. I really wasn't feeling well, so I am not super happy with the outcome.
I used BG Figgy Pudding pp, BG Infuse ribbon, BG buttons, Creative Imaginations rubons, and SU Season of Simple Grace stamps with SU Inks. I stamped each item in separate colors, cut out, and pieced together.

Monday, A Little Late

Another Scrapbook Challenges Sketch! Sorry it is a day late, I guess I spaced it, lol!
Sketch 164
The layout I did for the sketch.
I used MME Bella Bella pp, Thickers, Adorn It little letters, die cuts from a RAK, and a button.
A card for Basic Grey Challenges, based on a sketch by Martine.
I used Bazzill cs, Basic Grey Blush pp, CB Asterisks dies, Kaiser Crafts rhinestones, and a stamped image I got from a swap so I don't know what it is, lol! I colored it with color pencils.
For my birthday last week, I got a $10 gift card from Michaels. So I printed a 40% coupon, and picked up this stuff! A Cuttlebug die cut set, Asterisks, and some Studio G $1 stamps.
Cliff made me this card for my birthday. He pulled out my Stampin Up Blender Pen and my inks, not to mention the Stickles, lol!
I also snagged this stamp set at Barnes and Noble!! $15 dollars for 8 rubber stamps, plus they are TWILIGHT!! Woo Hoo, now I want to do another Twilight ATC swap!!
I got quite a few layouts done this weekend, and will share tomorrow!!

Monday Scrapbook Challenges

Another Monday, another Scrapbook Challenges Sketch!
Pamela does an amazing job with these sketches.
This is Sketch 161.
And my take, I used Bazzill cs, Pink Paislee Enchanting pp, BG chipboard letters-inked, RAK'ed ribbon with acrylic flowers, Sassafras Hog Heaven border, DCWV cs for journaling block, silk and Prima flowers, and a button.
This week was my turn to offer a challenge over at Scrapbook Challenges, I do the technique challenges, this month I did a Sanding Technique Challenge. I used DCVW cs, Core'dinations cs, Sassafras Hog Heaven pp, misc chipboard letters, BG Infuse ribbon, and a bunch of diecuts that I got as a RAK.
The sanding consists of the letters, the die cuts, the CB embossed Core'dinations, the photo, and the journaling spot. I scraped the edges of the layout too, so show more of the white core.
I participated in a Round Robin game on SC, and I was the first person. I was given this layout to scraplift.
When I finished, I sent it off to the next person, who did the same. In the end, the team who stayed truest to the original layout (above) wins. I am the only person to see the original. I am excited to see the results.
My scraplift....I used Bazzill cs, October Afternoon Cherry Hill pp, SU Season of Friendship stamps, inked Thickers (her nickname is actually Fee Fee, but didn't have enough "E"s, lol), BG Infuse ribbon, and the insect die cuts were a RAK too.
Speaking of Scrapbook Challenges, we have a blog hop coming up, so be on the lookout for that info soon!!

Happy Labor Day!

I hope you are all having a restful and happy Labor Day!
Today is Monday, so with that comes another Scrapbook Challenges Sketch!
Sketch 160
My take on the sketch.
I used Bazzill cs, Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo pp, a misc glittery frame, and Thickers.
Remember, Scrapbook Challenges has at least 2 new challenges every Monday!
This one is Snip A Photo/Mixed Letter.
For the sake of the challenge, I did both.
I used Bazzill cs, SU Good Morning Sunnshine pp, 3 sets of Thickers, Prima flowers, and rhinetones.
SC Something Boring to Something Nice
I altered this little tin from Target. Not an easy task with the handle and all.
I used MM Garden Party pp, and some ric rac. I really ran out of ideas for this.
SC Sept Photoshop Challenge, Walk in The Clouds.
We worked with cloud filters to give the photo an aged look. This is the original photo.
And here is the layout using the edited photo. It is kinda dark, but it does look older.
I used Bazzill cs, Pink Paislee Vintage Moon pp, Thickers, MLS mini letters, Prima flowers, rhinestones, and misc chipboard.
I got tons of layouts and stuff done this weekend, so I will have lots to share with you this coming week! Be sure to check back in.

Scrapbook Challenges

First of all, Happy Monday Bloggy Friends! I hope your weekend was as good as mine. I spent the entire weekend scrapbooking, and playing during the AMR Online Crop! I got tons done, and hope to get more done tonight, as there are still 5 challenges I want to get done before Wednesday.
.
I found out last night that I won the monthly prize at Scrapbook Challenges for July! Beside the prize, I get to show off this really cool winner's badge, made by Cathy!
I am super excited too! All I had to do was at least one challenge, and I got entered into the drawing for this......
These stamps from Unity Stamps! How super cool, can't wait to get these so I can start playing with them all!
.
Another week, another Monday, another sketch at Scrapbook Challenges. This week's sketch is # 156.
This is my take. I used DCWV cs, a mix of pps-SU Delicate Dots, SU Good Morning Sunshine, and Cosmo Cricket Mr Campy; BG White Choc cb letters (inked), CB Funky Circles with Bazzill Bling, and asst butterfly stamps in the lower left corner.
Being the 2nd Monday of the month, I get to do my Technique Challenge for SC also!
This month I decided to do some Ink Resist.
I showed how to do heat emboss with Vermamark ink, ink over it, and wipe the ink off. This is a really fun technique, if you want to see how it is done, check out the link above. :)
I used MM Garden Party pp, Scenic Route pp, Technique Tuesday Stamps, MM Flower Patch letters, rhinestone flowers, and rhinestone cluster, and some pretty stitched ribbon. I made the spiral edge with my SU Spiral punch.
I got a few more things last week in the mail.
These are some ATCs from Julie, from past AMR SCH swaps, Fave Product/Technique, NSD crop, and Pets. She also included these chipboard numbers as a hostess RAK with her butterfly ATCs. Thanks Julie!
These are the This Card Smells Great ATC swap from Split Coast. OH MY, so these smell, lol! I had done the apple one, a couple months ago. I also got a little bottle of strawberry scented glue, Thanks Joyce!
The Favorite Cartoon ATC swap from Split Coast, these are just adorable! I also got a little prize for being the last one to sign up. Thanks Leslie!
Tomorrow.......more scrappy stuff! I got tons done this weekend, remember, lol!

I Had A Busy Weekend

First things first, I have decided to stop doing the daily blog thing. I am having a hard time keeping up and I don't want to feel stressed or pressured about it, plus, it doesn't seem to be very popular. I will just keep blogging as things happen.
.
It is Monday, which means another sketch at Scrapbook Challenges. This is sketch 149.
My take...I used Bazzill cs, Cosmo Cricket Lil' Man pp, GCD sticker letters, Cuttlebug flowers and heart, and Rectangle Nestabilities.
A Father's Day card using Bazzill cs, BG Mellow pp, American Crafts ribbon, SU Topnote and Matchbox dies, Studio G stams, and CB Swiss Dots embossing folder.
I made this matchbox using the same XL Matchbox die from SU for my SIL, Mary. I used SU Riding Hood Red cs, SU Bella Rose pp, the same Matchbox die, SU Great Friend stamps, and misc ribbon.
This was Mary's birthday card. I used SU Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette cs, Bella Rose pp, SU Crazy For Cupcakes stamp, SU Riding Hood Red ink and SU Blender Pen, plain white ribbon, Christmas Red/Cotton Candy/Frosted Lace Stickles, a white gel pen to color in the frosting, and Kaiser Crafts pearls.
I joined a Technique ATC swap, where I chose to show how to kiss stamps. I used the same pics as my technique last month and put them on the back with typed instructions. The chipboard is painted with MM paint, Quikutz tear drop die, Oval Nestabilities embossed with Tiny Bubbles embossing folder (showing the debossed side), and the We R Memory Keepers panda stamp is kissed with a Martha Steward polka dot border stamp.
I got this RAK from mn-jana-oh from AMR with her swaps she sent me!
Today I got this one from Grammy-b at AMR with her swaps!
Cliff got this one from mn-jana-oh.
And this one from Grammy-b!
Mary, my SIL, and scrapinmary at AMR, got a huge box full of rubber stamps for $10 a few weeks ago-1/2 of them are SU! They came to visit this last weekend, and she brought me a shoebox full of them! How awesome was that?! Thanks Mary!
These are the SU ones she gave me. I still have to identify some of them.
These are the stamps that are not SU! They are mixed brands, mostly indepenents, but there are some cute one in there!
That is all I have to share for now. I hope no one is disappointed in me canceling the daily blog theme, I just can't seem to keep up with it. I think I like the posting whenever thing anyway. I will still try to post most everyday though. Thanks for stopping by, I do love my faithful readers!!
