Some Recent Layouts

To start with, here is some more Rob Pattinson goodness!!!
I am a bit behind on some of these, with the computer problems I have been having, and just plain spacing out, I missed a week or two of posting. But, here they are, in all their glory!
My take. I used October Afternoon Road Map pp, Bazzill cs, Cosmo Cricket The Boyfriend pp, misc ribbon, and Thickers. Oh, and my fairly new Tiny Attacher!
Sketch 175-This week's sketch!
For mine, I used Sassafras Bungle Jungle pp, die cuts, Bazzill cs, rhinestones, and Thickers.
If you have considered joining up at Scrapbook Challenges, I encourage you to come on by. It is no longer on MySpace, so those of you who avoided it because of that [J.I. ;)] there is no excuse! It is so much easier to navigate, and posting is less hassle. We even have our own gallery, so no more 3rd party posting!!
.
Here is another BZB Designs layout I did, this week's release!! This page uses a few kits, but all coordinate! The paper is Going Gingham, the cookies are Cookies 4 Santa, the letters are Cookie Cutter, then there is the matching cardstock-Take Stock Dec Color Play. The entire set would normally cost $8, but are half price right now, so it would only cost you $4. If you are into digi, I highly recommend check out Brynn's kits. She has them for sale at Elemental Scraps.
I did this one last month for the SSS Nov crop. Unfortunately, I didn't save the info for what the kit is, or who it is by-I do know it was a freebie.
This is for a Round Robin game we played on Scrapbook Challenges. This is my scraplift of the original layout, by Chrispea, which you can see here.
I used Bazzill cs, Graphic 45 pp, 7 gypsies stamp, button, BG rubons, wooden letters from Dollar Tree, Jenni Bowlin Bingo Card, and a die cut from Julie.
That's all the layouts I have done for now! Thanks for checking in friends!!

Happy Labor Day!

I hope you are all having a restful and happy Labor Day!
Today is Monday, so with that comes another Scrapbook Challenges Sketch!
Sketch 160
My take on the sketch.
I used Bazzill cs, Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo pp, a misc glittery frame, and Thickers.
Remember, Scrapbook Challenges has at least 2 new challenges every Monday!
This one is Snip A Photo/Mixed Letter.
For the sake of the challenge, I did both.
I used Bazzill cs, SU Good Morning Sunnshine pp, 3 sets of Thickers, Prima flowers, and rhinetones.
SC Something Boring to Something Nice
I altered this little tin from Target. Not an easy task with the handle and all.
I used MM Garden Party pp, and some ric rac. I really ran out of ideas for this.
SC Sept Photoshop Challenge, Walk in The Clouds.
We worked with cloud filters to give the photo an aged look. This is the original photo.
And here is the layout using the edited photo. It is kinda dark, but it does look older.
I used Bazzill cs, Pink Paislee Vintage Moon pp, Thickers, MLS mini letters, Prima flowers, rhinestones, and misc chipboard.
I got tons of layouts and stuff done this weekend, so I will have lots to share with you this coming week! Be sure to check back in.

I Am Exhausted.

Another Monday, another Scrapbook Challenges Sketch!
Pamela works so hard making all these sketches, and Sketch 159 is no exception!
I used BG Urban Prairie pp, I hand-cut the photo corners, used some Thickers, and some miscellaneous chipboard.
This is why I am exhausted. I am making the baby shower invites for my bff Marla as a gift to her. I had to do 32 in all, and here sits the pile of cut pieces I have to work with! I started on Friday night, and finished up on Sunday night. I am very happy with them though, and I hope she will be as well!
Oh, you want to see them? Sorry! LOL I need something to blog about tomorrow, so I will share them then!!

Monday..........

I really wish there was one more day in the weekend. I never seem to get enough rest in 2 days. I did manage to get a few layouts done and a couple ATCs though!
.
For my take on the sketch, I used BG Marrakesh pp, Fiskars Apron Lace border punch, Thickers, plastic flowers, dyed "skittles", and lacey ribbon.

I used Bazzill cs, a mix of October Afternoon pp, a tag made by Patti M, BG fibers, Nestability rectangle, die cut flower, rhinestone, American Crafts chipboard, and Miss Elizabeth's letters.
Split Coast's Disney Villains ATC swap. I took 2 spots.
The first one...Syndrome from The Incredibles!
I printed the photo on white cs, cut the foreground with my Silhouette on SU Pacific Point cs, printed the quote in a speech bubble, and added rhinestones.
This one is my favorite, I chose to do Randall Boggs from Monsters Inc.
Doesn't look villainous to you? This is Boo's door on the scare floor. I used Bazzill cs, Technique Tuesday stamps, a brad, and a dyed rhinestone to simulate the light that turns on when the door is activated.
Open the door, and you see Randall! He is printed on white cs.
Sadly, I don't have any posts pre-scheduled this week, so all we can do is hope I can get more scrappin' done, lol! Thank you to all my readers. If you read regularly, please leave me a quick comment and let me know! You guys ROCK!!

A Somewhat Scrappy Weekend

My somewhat scrappy weekend started with a mini crop with tigardlilly and the 4 kids, but more on that later, lol! For now, I want to share this week's sketch at Scrapbook Challenges, Sketch 157. Pamela makes really great sketches!
And my take on the sketch. I used Bazzill cs, BG Wisteria pp, Prima/Bazzill/silk flowers, buttons, and some unknown painted chipboard I got from Inara which I inked.
I made 4 of these for some RAKs I owe over at AMR, they are 3x3 and are made with Bazzill cs, We R Memory Keepers pp, Inkadinkado stamps, Prima flowers, and a couple brads.
I am hosting another swap over at Split Coast, Cute As A Bug. The idea is to use those cute buggy stamps, paper, etc.
I used BG Lemonade pp, Bazzill cs, Studio G Stamps, Unity Stamps, SU Little Leaves die, EK Success flower punch, Kaiser Crafts rhinestones, CB Scallop Squares die, and some Stickles.
The last installment of the Split Coast Pass It Along swap, and I am the last stop. I added the screw brads and wrench brad on the second one. The first one I made a fish hook out of beading wire and string, and glued on the fish. The theme was masculine.
Friday Night's mini crop with the kids! 2 of them were working on their ATCs for the Kids Only ATC Swap at Swap Addicts Anonymous, the rest just played around with supplies. We all had a blast!

Like I said, a SOMEWHAT scrappy weekend, lol! Tomorrow I will be sharing some scrappy mail. Swaps, RAKs, and a funny photo of Toby!

A Great Productive Weekend

Ahhh, I had a scrappy weekend. In between working on the computer some more, getting all the little glitches out, and a new hard drive, I got a bunch of layouts done!

Here is the original photo. I took out the boat and the tip of the fishing pole in the top left corner...
Here is the layout I did using the edited photo.
I used plain cs, a mix of October Afternoon pp, stamped Inkadinkado butterfly on SU Delicate Dots pp, Thickers (subbed some letters and numbers), Martha Stewart Butterfly punched DCWV glitter cs, MM ribbon, MM flower brads, Nestabilities rectangle.

Round It Up: Make a round layout.
I used a Heidi Swapp acrylic overlay clock, Pink Paislee pp, and unknown chipboard.

I used my regular hole punch, both sizes of hole punches on my cropodile, and a eyelet hole punch with hammer. I also used Reminiscence pp and matching stickers, Target Dollar Spot letters, and Spiced Marmalade Distress Stickles.

Catch Up Time

Well, we are still having computer problems, looks like it may be the hard drive itself! This is the main reason for my absence. I have been taking pics of stuff though, and have been scrapping.
.
Let's start off with some Scrapbook Challenges shall we! Sketch 153, by Cathy/Pink Cadillac. She did a great job didn't she?!
This is my take on the sketch.
I used Bazzill cs, Sassfras Hog Heaven pp, ribbon scraps, and Thickers.
AMR (All Moments Remembered) is doing a Book Of Me (BOM) challenge series. They aren't really challenges, as there aren't winners, just a theme/assignment each week. The first one, 3 weeks ago, was to list the thing that bring you joy.
I used Bazzill cs, BG Wisteria pp, Crate Paper rubons, MME cs flower, MM flower brad, and Thickers.
Last week's BOM challenge was "Oh To Be....", I chose THIN. I gave Chrispea a couple swimsuit model photos, and some of me. She is very proficient in Photoshop, and this is what she came up with!! Don't I look HOT?! Keep in mind, this is NOT me, just my face, lol!
This is the layout I did for BOM#2.
I used Bazzill cs, BG Eva pp, BG Sugared pp, Prima Flowers, BG Buttons, Kaiser Crafts pearls, and Thickers. Journaling reads.....
Not only would I be beautiful, I'd feel like it! I could run & play, reach my toes, cross my legs, and ride carnival rides. I could squeeze through crowds; and clothes would be cheaper. Oh, to be thin.
I got this National Scrapbook Day ATC from Kay, for a challenge I offered during the NSD crop at AMR.
Being my Stampin Up! Demo, she brought me this little gift! Thanks Kay, I love it!
OH MY GOODNESS, have you seen the new in colors from SU?? They are so gorgeous! Kay also brought me these swatches of the in colors, along with my SU Catalog!!!
And as a hostess gift (she brought me her swaps as well), she made these gorgeous stamped images!!! Some of them are hostess sets, some are brand new, and some are regular ones, but all great! One of them, which is cut off since you can't see it anyway, is an embossed rose, so I can try this technique. I can't wait to try it!
I am cutting this post off, so I have more to share tomorrow! Hopefully our computer will be back up and running soon. That will make things a lot easier in the future!

Layouts, ATCs, RAKs

What a whirlwind week!! The funeral went well, and we got to visit with most of the family. That trip to Salem was followed with a trip back up the Great Wolf Lodge in WA with tigardlilly. I am still wiped out and trying to recoup, lol!
Today is Monday which means a new sketch at Scrapbook Challenges.
Sketch 152
My take. I used Bazzill cs, Dreamstreet pp, Bazzill and Prima flowers, Thickers, and buttons.
Being the second Monday of the month, it was my week for a challenge as well, and I get to do the Technique Challenge each month. Since I have had a crazy week, I kept it fairly simple, and shared some ways to do Stitching.
I used Bazzill cs, BG Junebug pp, Thickers, Embroidery Floss, Bazzill In Stitches templates, Cutterbee Piercing bugs for some hole punching, then some free hand stitching.
Today is tigardlilly's birthday, and I have always wanted to make one of these skinny cards. I used SU Pink Pirouette cs, SU Bella Rose pp, SU Crazy For Cupcakes stamps, Tiara Stickles, Diamond Stickles, and Candy Cane Stickles. She loved it!
ATC for Split Coast Stampers, At The Circus.
I used BG Infuse pp, Imaginisce stamps, drew and cut the pedastal with the Silhouette, rhinestones, Platinum Stickles, and a Sharpie, lol.
Split Coast Christmas In July ATC.
I used BG Mistletoe & Pear pp, SU Kiwi Kiss cs, Studio G/Inkadinkado/Target Dollar Spot stamps, Versamark, heat embossing, and rhinestones.
AMR Patriotic swap came back!
So did the Give Me A Rose swap.
Cliff and I got this card from AMR's grammy-b/Bren! How sweet is that!?
Hostess RAK from espinola3 (AMR).
Hostess RAK from grammy-b.
Hostess RAK from scrappin{jewlz}.
That is all I have to share right now. My poor blog has been so neglected lately, lol! I am really hoping to get on a more regular schedule with life, then I can balance things better. I want to all for all your kind words regarding Cliff's mom. Thanks for all your patience with me and my blog.
